CASE: 32-year-old female known case of SLE ; pregnant for the second time that appear uncomplicated until U\S performed at 22weeks which shows congenital malformation of her fetus (hydrops fetalis). ▪ Previous obstetric history: Her first pregnancy was uncomplicated & resulted in the birth of a normal girl at term. ▪ The current pregnancy ends with birth of a baby boy with congenital malformed (hydrops fetalis) at 32 weeks gestation. ▪ At delivery time: baby was with hydrops appearance & marked icterus (jaundice). ▪ LAB: blood was taken from her: Hb of 7.5 g/dL, blood group A-ve, while baby blood group was B+ve. ▪ 2years later patient developed chronic renal failure and need renal transplantation. ▪ Questions: What are the causes & pathogenesis of organ transplant rejection in this patient? . what are the paraclinical investigations are need for this patient?
