In this tutorial Here, I’d like to discuss a few of the things I’ve learned over time in handling exceptions within lambdas. Keep in mind, there are always multiple approaches to things like this, so take this with a pinch of salt. Hi Sir Great explanation. I have a doubt. Using the functional interface handlecheckedexceptionconsumer you are getting Exception as argument and throwing runtime exception in the implementation. So it must be "handle Unchecked Exception Consumer " right?

while returning consumer you are using lambda but it is also taking lot of code inside lambda expression right.

Yes you can specify ant matchers pattern to bypass url

Sairam it's just Exacption class and I used here type generic

we cannot use generics in static method.In order to do that we have to declare those type parameter like that so they act as static.

Hi,can you give solution on this coding String nameData = "1:Raja#6:Raman#5:Kabeer#9:Dinesh"; String ageData = "6:35#1:22#5:29#9:77"; Objective : First String contians primary key & Name while Iist String has primary key & Age data. you need to print it like : Raja age is 22 Kabeer age is 29 Ramana age is 35 Dinesh Age is 77

Use hash map. Put name data in hash map as primary key as key and name as value. Then iterate through age data and check in names hashmap using primary key and print it if it’s there. Use split method to separate the strings based on character #

Target is your input parameter and exobj is exception type

Well, OK, but the title was Stream API and the examples were list.forEach (which is not the Stream API). You could have done something similar with the stream API, but it’s not so simple as you have to return something useful e.g. for the map operation.

I didn't find difficulty in map since it takes an argument function I can create a exception handler who return and accept a function

if we have to fail fast, then we can use map else if we need to handle Exception, then we can use forEach.

@@KimmoKLo If there is exception then exception is thrown . If everything goes good then it would return Stream. Ex - > Given List using map( n -> divideByZero(n/0,ArithmeticException.class)). Stream divideByZero(Function fn,Class excObjectClass){ return Stream.of(num) -> { try{ fn.apply(num); }catch(Exception ex){ try{ ExcObj exObj = excObjectClass).cast(ex); sout(ex.getMessage); }catch(ClassCastException e) { throw e; } @Javatechie ! Correct me please If I am wrong this is my understanding. Thanks.
