Thank you so much,A very educational video. We got tired of seeing simple simple examples on most other channels. But this example really opened my mind .
Thank you so much, I have learned more watching your videos then from my MIA professor. This College online is extremely difficult and now that I'm on my last 2 weeks of school, Im sick with Covid. I am struggling to understand what I know I learned and now I can't keep my thoughts together. I have a reflection essay which is due tomorrow but the worse part I have a GUI lab due tommorrow too. I have emailed, messaged through canvas and used tutoring with no success. I wish I had you in my back pocket sort of speak. Trying to do this while struggling with Covid is insane and I don't understand why I can't be excused to have extended time. thank you for the help.
I am trying to learn Java. I used to develop small business applications on Microsoft Access with Visual Basic for Applications. This video has given me a good start in seeing that learning Java might not have to be an entirely different animal given that the concepts I learned using VBA in terms of objects, etc... are still there. I just have to learn the new keywords and what libraries to import. Thank you so much for your great video. I still wonder how much you have done in an hour and a half with the amazing IDE in NetBeans.. 👍👍👍👏👏👏
Thank you very much!!! I really need this. I know some Java but i need to refresh it. With this video is all in one for me. Everything is very well explained. Thanks for sharing.
The Qt Framework is very similar to Java w/ Netbeans. This tutorial was very helpful, I was able to make a smooth transition from C++ GUI development to Java GUI development.
Great video Johan, very much appreciated. If anything, did not expect that many code re-pasting, and would like to know the same but with database instead of file. Thank you very much.
thank you. i followed each of your steps but i realised that when i run "addNewJob" or "addNewEmployee", it does not automatically lead me to "Welcome to the Employee System" menu but yours do. Mine just takes me to the "Add New Job" or "addNewEmployee". i am guessing there is a difference in our jframe settings. i would like to know what is.
My Netbean for some reason when i edit the JLablel text and put a new text ex New Employee Name, will not auto adjust to the content length, what should i do? Each time i have to adjust it manually
I wish you could make a 5 minute video showing the steps on how to create a Hello World GUI with Swing components. I created the form, the application compiles, but when I click run, the form does not show up. I skipped through this video, trying to find the part that interests me, but I abandoned my attempt after 15 minutes...
great job. however I'm facing a problem right now. my menu item for add/create job doesn't bring out the AddNewJob window. I tried to compare any irregularities between its codes and AddEmployee's, but they're the same. Anybody faces the same problem and know how to work it?
23:14 -> It doesn't work in netbeans 12.0 since it has no longer libraries so here I got an error Error :Package.org.jdesktop.layout doesnot exists and the youtube tutorial to fix it was not working.
