Brian Goetz is the Java Language Architect at Oracle, and was the specification lead for JSR-335 (Lambda Expressions for the Java Programming Language.) He is the author of the best-selling Java Concurrency in Practice, as well as over 75 articles on Java development, and has been fascinated by programming since Jimmy Carter was President.

Would be perfect if project Vanlhalla also allowed to implement how value classes should behave upon basic operators "+ - * /" Lets say: value class Point { int x; int y; sum(Point point) { x += point.x; y += point.y; } sum (int amt) { x += amt; y += amt; } } Then we could use like: Point loc = new Point(3, 5); loc += new Point(5, 5); loc = loc + 10; (loc += 10); Plus an equals could be implemented as well, for == value comparison like primitives and pointers.

Wish that generic method type arguments came after the name, it’s really annoying for static imports

Having all variables to be typed 'var' is not a good idea for me. If you're using checkstyle, which you should, you can easily or even automatically align the variables names for readability.
