An explanation of event bubbling vs. event capturing in JavaScript. I explain the 3 phases of event propagation: capturing, target, bubbling and show you how you can use these phases to control the order in which events get fired. When you understand event bubbling and capturing, you can take advantage of event delegation, a technique which can help you save memory and reduce code duplication. Created by Gregg Fine.

@@TheCodeCreative oh, one more thing, I've been watching your series of videos and have to ask you for a favor.. or should I say a "tip" for your videos. You might want to put your sound effect volume a bit lower so that it doesn't surprise your viewers while they're listening to your calm voice through a headphone or an earphone lol.. Sound effects should be subtle =)

Wow...Thank you so much! It's the best explanation for Event Bubbling and Capturing concept! Everytime I search the topics on javascript on youtube, your videos are always the best! the way or explaining difficult concepts is very easy and clear and funny! You're way better than most of my instructors I will watch your whole videos later :) and I have some questions for you, I will be very happy if you reply! I'm currently learning html/css/javascript self-taught on the internet and after all I want to learn frontend framework such as react. but I've heard from many others on the internet saying you'd better learn typescript first and learn react with typescript. My goal is to get a entry level frontend job for enterprises level. Q. Do you think it's the right order to learn front-end development? Q. or What is your recommendation to learn fronteend in what order? Q. Do you have any plan to make a tutorials for typescript or typescirpt with react in the future? Thank you as always!👍

Thanks for the comment. Glad the videos are helpful! Re: Typescript and React - If you're new to React, I'd recommend learning React first on its own. I'm a proponent of keeping things simple. Even thought Typescript is a superset of JavaScript, you might find yourself spending a lot of time dealing with the TypeScript errors/warnings as well as adjusting to the new syntax. You can still learn the ins and outs of React without integrating TypeScript. As far as making TypeScript tutorials: yes, I'd like to make some. I do use TypeScript on various projects and I'm definitely a fan, in general.
