Extra Mural Lectures (Estd. in 1982) - the official lec-dem body of IIT Madras - is delighted to be back with a fireside chat with the renowned poet-lyricist-screenwriter Shri Javed Akhtar.
"Nothing happens in void, it is all connected at the end of the day", epic lines like these echoed in SAC when Mr. Akhtar interacted with the students at the "The Storyteller's Odyssey". We were greatly honoured to hear the celebrated lyricist, screenwriter and poet keeping the audience enthralled with his witty replies and thought-provoking talk on diverse topics ranging from his familial background and inspiration to writing to the present situation of Cine-music industry and Digitalization. As much as we thank Javed ji for being with us, We thank you all for your overwhelming response and participation in making the event a memorable one.
