That's what a great coach does. As an Irishman I became a Khabib fan during the lead up to that fight, & I was delighted when he took McGregor's soul - he has never been the same since.
@@Ghurshah 100%. I've been a martial arts fan since I was a kid & grew up doin Shotokan & Kenpo. What McGregor does has nothing to do with martial arts - it's show business & all about ego & money.
@@Ghurshah 10000% I'm muslim i have so much respect irish pple my teachers were one of my friend at the gym is also nothing but respect but conor sucks
@@user-uu3ix3yh4j after beating macnugget,Khabib jumped to macnugget teams cornor.thats how he looked when he was jumping out of the cage.thats the print on the tshirt.hope you got it now
Absolute genius of a coach - his list of champions is amazing - Frank Shamrock, Cain, Rockhold, Daniel Cormier (x2) Khabib and now Islam! Also the late great Abdulmanap.
Mendez is the best perfect coach that suits khabib manners 100%, that's why he looked to him as a 2nd father, he even have same shape and figure as his father, what a combo
@@brandondrew4914 lmao I was just going to say the same thing. Then it was “only business” but when he talked about his dead dad; what was that?? Lmao, I’d say that’s as personal as you can get. 🙌🏼 he deserved that beating!
Tbh conor’s prime is long gone. After the mayweather fight conor never was the same again. I still support him tho. Dude’s entertaining af and isn’t afraid to take risks.
@@midget420 I hate Conor but one thing you've to give him is that he has massive balls. He's not afraid of a damn thing. The fact that he even took the Khabib fight shows that he takes risks.
He was trained for trash talk for 20 years. But he wasn't trained for the father, country, and religion stuff. Connor crossed a line that most fighters don't cross.
@@Figs3 true but that was because it was personal. I think conor was genuinely mad at khabib for surrounding his best friend with his entire team and humiliating him.
@@ismeshyourmicchicken2774 why tho? The bigger man can take insults and walk away. When you let dudes get under your skin, it’s a sign of weakness imo.
@@ismeshyourmicchicken2774 plus don’t call professional fighters chicken if you never fought professionally. Those “chickens” would make you cry in a minute, so don’t be a hypocrite
@@midget420 He had take enough insults before the fight about his country, Family , Religion I don't think anyone else on his place could take this type of Insult He shows how strong he is
Your telling me mcgregor never got under khabibs skin? What were you watching where on earth do you get that he never, the evidence was there that he clearly got under his skin many of times or else khabib wouldn’t have done what he did after the fight, idiots with no brain comment utter rubbish
@@wariokhabib245 not even close bro. This was such a difference in culture, islamic fighter and culture vs western haram culture(drinking, cursing etc.). It was crazy. I am happy my brothers came out on top
@@ahmedxkhan Like I said: the only thing that came close. Didn't say it was the same thing 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂 But like Khabib and Conor, Jon and Daniel's beef was anything but fabricated.
Khabib said he feel relax.really dumb answer from him.normally press conference to hype the fight but that dagestani dumb doesn't know about this business
He didn’t tho. Conor got under his skin but the outcome wasn’t what he expected. Can’t deny conor got him mentally. Dude jumped the cage after his victory
Dude so true. Anyone who didn't get flustered during press runs has beat Connor. Porier 2 and 3 nate Diaz 1 khabib hell I'd even say Floyd Mayweather. I never thought about that
You think mcgregor gives a shit? Hahaha a lot more money, more famous and will always have a higher status in the world, you ask random people if they know mcgregor or khabib most will know mcgregor not as many khabib so don’t understand your point again another idiot talking complete rubbish

@@adamrobinson8433 dont believe so, he didnt recieve ant damage after the floyd fight physical or mental. Infact he was very happy after that fight, his fame was an all time high & he just made a 100 million dollars. Even before Khabib's fight he was all confidant & what not, after the the Khabib beating he came humble in the first porier fight, he also started drinking heavily & i believe he atleast was on cocaine. Beating old men & tweeting a lot of shit till this day about Khabib. U don't see any of that after the floyd fight. I believe a lot of people put it on floyd because they dont want to admit Khabib was the one who broke him mentally.
It's a shame that Khabib always felt like the crowd was against him. We all know Conor and his huge following and also Dana basically allowing Conor to do what he pleases. Khabib was a champion through and through
Khabib saying to that crowd “I’m gonna smash your boy” is the biggest bada** line ever spoken in the mma history. No fear, no hesitation, no over confidence. Just pure courage.
