I think khamzat had a great gas tank and that covid got him. I’ve had so many friends lose their cardio significantly even after they’ve recovered from the virus
Yes very very true. I had to train for almost a year to get any significant gain back to full cardio after a bad time with it myself. But i did have better cardio than most of my training partners in the end so some was probably also mental being i ended up overprepared
But you can build your cardio back up You eat eat better foods improve your diet which will strengthen your immune system and no doubt that’s what khamzat has done

Unfortunately Alex is so SO weak on the ground but a damn machine on foot and we all know Khamzat is absolutely gonna go for a takedown and once Alex is down Khamzat is gonna win no doubt about it but we'll see how things work out maybe Khamzat gonna choose to stand with Alex like he did with Burns.. we'll see
khamzat definitely has all the skills and makings to become one of the greatest ever. he just needs experience, bc you can see how a guy with more experience like gilbert took him to deep waters. guys like whittaker, colby, dustin, usman would definitely give him more problems.
I doubt any of these fighters (except Whittaker) would give Khamzat much more problems, especially after what he did to Kevin Holland who's fought many ranked Middleweight contenders. Including legends like Jacare Souza and Kevin knocked him out while on his back. Khamzat would definitely beat almost all of the fighters you named now. Except maybe Whittaker, but hey all It takes Is a good game-plan to execute to beat your opponents. Leon Edwards proved this with his kickboxing and striking masterclass against Usman, taking out his knees, stuffing his take downs, and outpacing him for 5 RDs straight. And Dustin Poirer btw would get absolutely by Khamzat, he's a Lightweight who can barely grapple with elite BJJ black belts like Charles Oliveira. Khamzat would absolutely ragdoll him.

The crazy thing about khamzat is I think the fights at 170 are tougher for him than the fights at 185 . Not all of them , but most of the top 5 fighters in each weight class .

I always thought covid was not dangerous until I actually got it. 30 year old, in great shape, vaccinated 3x and still it got my lungs bad. It took me months, almost a year to somewhat recover. For 3 months I couldn't smell or taste anything
You would’ve recovered much better if you’d relied on your immune system which I assume worked perfectly the way you described yourself. It’s the vax‘ fault and you gotta acknowledge it and take responsibility for that.
I literally just posted this on a triple c post.Khamzat hasn't gotten his body back since he had COVID. Honestly he thought he'd never fight again. The longer he's got to train strengthen and work like a crazy person the better he's gonna get! Mark my words no one takes into consideration that he was one of those healthy super young active humans with CRAZY cardio that randomly got COVID and it absolutely tried to ruin! The more time the better for him. He probably doesn't see it that way bc he needed and will need more money to support his new life style. I haven't heard anyone touch on his COVID experience except to mock him which is ridiculous honestly. The dude thought his career was over. COVID devastated this man. It wasn't his fault luck of the draw. He honestly probably would have been some young person to die from it if he wasn't in AMAZING SHAPE! If he would have been a high risk person he may have legit died! THINK ABOUT THAT. It's not funny what COVID did to him or anyone else. I bet EVERYONE knew someone who died from that B's. It wasn't the" common cold" for way too many people it was a death sentence. Idk maybe they will figure out why it effects so differently? Is it genes or just dumb shitty luck????🤷♀️
Khamzat had complications after covid and he got most of his thyroid amputated. So he has to do lifelong medical treatment and he's having big trouble making weight after that. now you know

@Moetez Ouelhazi I'm not bashing him. Just saying that HGH and certain steroids can do amazing things for recovery. We're not talking about a normal person trying to recover, this is a world class athlete trying to recover in order to compete.
