@ mojangles28 it's insane watching this guy skate, it's awe inspiring and depressing. I skated w/ him in Palo Alto, ca. He filmed some tricks for the firm vid. Hard flip back tail on a ledge of some stairs and a few tricks on a ledge over some stairs. The dude is just cruising and busts out the craziest tricks with insane consistency... PRod style but with more natural fluid style. There's one other person that comes close to Javier's ability and that's Sean Payne from Hawaii, that guy same thing. Just busts the gnarliest tricks like nothing. Both guys can pick up a board and begin to roll around and film a video part by the end of the day. It's incredible!
the fact that ur first line said it's depressing watching Javier skate cuz he's so great. THIS is why there's all these youtube videos of very less than average skaters getting as many or more views and likes as actual legit pros it's disgusting. Or even a first kickflip ever youtube video gets millions of views. And i know for a fact it's cuz the majority of people are so weak minded that they actually can't stand seeing someone do something great cuz it makes them feel bad. They ignore dope skating and stick to watching beginner videos cuz it's "relatable" and the great skating "makes them feel bad". I swear gen z is the most pussy generation. i'm a millenial we definitely weren't this bad. I've heard kids say "i don't like seeing shit done clean, i like a little sketch in there at least". Like wow they are really that insecure.
A Leon when this dvd 1st came out I seen this part when I was 15 & I was in love with skateboarding from that day on. Me & my cousin would be up til 3am saturday nights out skating. I'm 29 now & I miss those days. 411vm put me on to alot of underground rap even rock artists that I still listen to.
