Good morning. Let me commend all of you on your assessment of the debate. As a member of the diaspora I would like to see the following for the up coming debates: 1. The different teams need to answer the question that is being asked and not dance around the issue, 2. Avoid zingers and one liners and provide substance to the issues that affect the people, 3. Speak to the issues that affect all the people of the island and how best your party is suited to tackle them and provide opportunities for all Jamaicans, 4. Deal with the issues that appears to be retarding the progress of this beautiful island eg. Stemming the tide of crime and violence, dealing with corruption within your ranks and holding those who engage in such things accountable, 4. Provide jobs for the youths and other working people of the island or the means to provide their own employment regardless of what community they grew up in and 5. Overall address all the issues that affect the people and provide a way forward for the nation even during this pandemic. As an island that is regarded as the land of wood and water there should not be any water shortage or rationing in Jamaica. Many island would give anything to have what we have currently in our island. In many places fresh water goes into the sea while community members have no water. Farmers in the breadbasket and other areas have little or no water due to malfunction pump or other issues. It is time to fix the water problem in our blessed island once and for all. Those of us who visit the island from time to time experience the same and worse water problems as when we were living in Jamaica. It is time for the government to build a couple more reservoirs in strategic areas to provide water all over the island. They should also tap into the water resources that the island possess. Finally, many people who live overseas would like to return to the island. To make this possible the government needs to tackle the problem of crime and violence, provide good healthcare, transportation, and make it reasonable for us to return without having to go through unnecessary hassles. Also get the public to vote on the winner of the debate.

This is what's wrong with Jamaica! We major in the minor. I have seen and heard all these pretty talks for 18.5 years under the PNP and now 4 years under the JLP. Roads were left in a deplorable condition. In fact, all of the country's infrastructure was crumbling. Now the same bunch telling how they gonna fix it and stupid ass politically alligned people come on social media acting smart and obgective pretending to be analyst!

The poor are less likely to afford a home now Houses are being made but not at the cost that the average civil servants can afford singlehanded

I dont think most Jamaican vote on much policies. I find them to vote on who they like and popularity.

Jlp won.... they were more organized, seem more trustworthy and sincere. They stick to the point of discussion more so than the PNP. They were more convincing and more informed in my opinion. The best speaker is between Johnson Smith and Green. I believe Tufton is a bit tired from the whole Covid situation and I think he might have took some of the comments abit too personal. Nevertheless he made is point and it is one of the most memorable (highlights)of the debate.

Team PNP acquitted themselves well...punch lines of information coupled with wit and sharp jabs especially from Lisa and Raymond.Dayton's comment was somewhat unnecessary and spoiled his delivery though his response re his party's proposed approach to dealing with CO-VID was better than Chris Tufton's 'learn to live with it.' comment. For the JLP Kamina was disappointingly nervous as a senior Minister and the team was saved from embarrassment by the fluency and depth of Floyd (Best Speaker JLP).Her wrap was better than Raymond's though.For me he missed the final punch. It would be helpful if the commission had a real time facility to check those statistics being reeled off by the speakers...Should be interesting.!!.
