Bought it on e-Bay almost 8 years ago- it took me that long to finish this project due of almost impossible to find missing parts.
Luckily being born Slovak and still going there twice a year I was able to gather mostly engine components over there.
Only the base of the frame, gas tank, wheels, headlight and the engine are the original, everything else, believe me or not, was sourced from online Moped Shop "Treats" in San Francisco ( thank you Benji!) and my friend's "Belmar Bike Shop" in NJ (thank you, Kyle!).
A lot of components I built myself by hand.
The biggest challenge- off course- was the engine, mainly transmission.
I had the engine put together and disassembled numerous times before getting it right.
Because off all the extra weight was shed off, the bike is light, easy to maneuver and nimble.
I am extremely happy about the result.
It is not my first project, in past I built about a dozen of Cafe' Racers based on Jawa Babettas 207, 210, 225.
Will post videos from few of them some time later.
Do not hesitate to ask for an advice from my experience.
