Hi Dan, we were there also and met you whilst waiting for the bus that never came as caterpillars were streaming down on us outside the garden center where the replica of bruce's head was. We were the Irish guy and american girl, Ray and Jill. We enjoyed your video a lot and had a blast during our time at Jawsfest 2005.
I live in Ma and I am a life long Jaws fan.I REALLY wanted to go but couldn't make it over to the Vineyard.Missing Jaws fest has burned on me ever since. I'm hoping they do it again sometime
Nearest airport, technically is the a/p ON island, but I doubt that is what you mean. Boston Logan and Providence, RI airports are both reasonable distance from ferries. This is the only thing I can find about a Jawsfest in 2010. We will be in Vineyard Haven tomorrow so maybe I'll stop by the Chamber of Commerce and try to get a confirmation first hand. Cheers and hope to see you here from the UK in 2010!
Can you add captions to the video (via movie maker for example) of who the people are signing autographs? One looks like the boys mom - the lady in black who slaps Brody. We are fortunate to go to MV every summer and want to do a Jaws tour of our own this year. Wonderful video - Thanks!
Dan Parks you know I wish I heard of this event 10 years prior to going in 2012 because when I went for jaws fest 2012 a lot of the things you have shown in this video deteriorated greatly, Bruce’s head was put in a restaurant called sharkys cantina and people were throwing trash in its mouth, the orca 2 was so worn down and people were looting from it that the owners had it chopped up, Joe Alves wasn’t around for the event neither was Lorraine Gary. They didn’t change the towns signs like they did here, it was a weird environment
what boat was that. if it was the orca i want to go there. i live in pa and could make it in a few hours or a day i was woundering... do you need to pay for entree
