I remember kids breaking their arms/legs all the time just from hitting a tiny rock at full speed lol. Curious thing too, when I kickflipped that 8 stair in my mind I just kept going, skating behind my two friends it was only a matter of minutes before I awoke on the ground looking at their faces.

Maybe not. I was an amateur motorcycle for a while and I have all kinds of rods and fusions and such. Operate and still perform athletics. I'm almost 40

5 -iwnl- that's not how your body works. You can wear it down to the point where it's healthy and it will grow stronger from it (as almost all training and sports do). That's called supercompensation. But the human body isn't designed to withstand this kind of wear and tear. I recon every time he lands one of those jumps he loses another month of his life with heathy joints. And gains one with pain and misery. He doesn't realize the damage he is doing to himself because of the adrenaline he is expiring when jumping, and he keeps going because of the excitement. Every time he lands some of the tissue in his joints gets permanently destroyed until there is nothing left and the bones are just grinding against each other. That's when he will need a hip/knee replacement. If he has the money for it. Don't do this to yourself. But if you want to, train up very, VERY slowly to build up strength in your joints and muscles, and learn how to safely take a fall.

Its just a technique alot of pro skateboarders use to prevent injury i guess. Notice how he tuck in his hands and roll as soon as his feet lands as he bails, and he doesnt land on his hands first and he always falls sideways instead of frontwards. As for the first clip, he is landing on a slanted surface so i guess thats why he could bail like that.

When you start skateboarding you learn that instinct real quick so you don't die every time you try to do a trick.
