They never wanted a prince! Cinderella- she just wants to go to the ball. Mulan- She wants to show her true self and for people to accept her. Belle- She wants her father safe. Aurora- She wanted to wake up, not get married to a prince because of some dumb kiss! Rapunzel- she wants FREEDOM. Ariel- She wanted legs!! Not a prince that loved her because of her voice! Edit: thanks for the likes guys, and to be honest.. disney is screwed up for making snow white (14 years old) marry the prince (32 years old give or take a few year lmao)
The song I never knew I needed! Growing up in the 90s being "brainwashed" into thinking you need a prince to save you. 32 now single mama making shit happen on my own!
Jax... You have stole my heart two years ago with you lovely jingles and you have blown up and I can not be more team Jax! You have said things that's need to be said and people are listening!!!!!!! Go Jax go!!!
I had never heard of JAX. just went to the Big Time rush concert in California and they were the opening act.. THEIR VIBE IS IMMACULATE, I met them yesterday and I am obsessed with their music, their vibe and their message. Great music and super important message
I am absolutely in love with this song!!! I just discovered it tonight and I’ve probably played it at least 30 times and I already memorized it. This is way more realistic that the real fairy tales…😂
How is it more realistic,”Rapunzel shaved her head” how would she be saved then,”Jasmine made out with Mulan” that makes no sense, they live no where near each other their stories are set far apart and they were not gay
Merida tried to tell all y’all men don’t matter. Why didn’t you listen to her at first? I was wondering when y’all would snap out of it- I love Jax’s new song btw!!! ❤😂
"I don't need no prince to save me, I'M A GODDAM CEO" just fell in love with the line, absolute need of the hour ❤❤❤❤ What a beautiful, n powerful song 😘😘😘
I feel it in my chest being in a relationship for six years just for the narcissistic abusive bastard to cheat again. And my dad said "You never need a man to make you happy make yourself happy" it's been three years since I broke it off
@@rubilol6228 I am. I'm getting into photography and when I save up enough I'm going to take photography classes. Got a camera for my birthday and I bought a cheap tripod for now off Amazon
@@emilyrothman5869 oh yeah I know. It’s just a saying that doesn’t really mean anything to do with ones gender nowadays. Like “bro” means brother but you can call a girl your bro or say “you guys” even when there’s girls in the group.
as a lesbian, i am so proud of jax for recognising lgbt community... btw jasmine is the hottest in my opinion sorry mulan shes mine guys wait im bi 😭💀💀💀
@@TheBigJayAgendaThe use of the f word probably (depends on how old your daughter is) and kinda making her think that these woman weren’t amazing when they were with men. They all slayed with men and there were much more female protagonists than men in this. They also tended to be powerful and both people were saved by each other, we really do need each other sometimes. Overall you could let your daughter listen to this I guess I think it just spreads the wrong message about what the characters used as metaphors in this song wanted.
This came on the radio when my mom and i were driving home and we heard the part "jasmine made out with mulan" and she got soooooooo pissed. Great song btw
This song proves that women, unlike girls, don't need to wait for men to come and save them. We're strong, beautiful, confident, caring, brave, and perfect on our own.
This song is so powerful and it took me many years to not hate and choose violence after he took my innocence..... This is the week that it happened so many years ago .. I'm so glad you are speaking out so many of us don't!!!!
