Well , it would be considered self defense against being attacked by axe if it couldn’t be proven otherwise. Jax had good lying alibi defense since ax was involved even though he had outright murder him. Police couldn’t arrest and charge Jax without solid evidence of prove to backup their own doubts that it was murdered after he had went after two other people before dying by Jax. It would be catch 22 situation in legal sense since Jax had ultimately helped police save the hostages from very person who has already attacked others in show of violence with weapon. It would not be far fetched that police would believe Jax after previous acts done towards others by same person who had died. Plus , it helps Jax to have inside police associates on this issue.
Really wish they did a prequel for this instead of Mayan's MC. That has the potential to be just as good. Would of been a little more interesting than Mayan's MC, in my opinion.
It's an apartment building IIRC so more likely that would have been a fire resistant (and very much solid core) door. He's not getting through that with an Axe in the 20 seconds it took Jax to catch up to him.
@@anthonycampos8057 And rightfully so!! My Husband was murdered 5yrs ago, the angry I still feel is indescribably. My Man and I had being together since I was 14 and married at 16. 34yrs was not nearly enough, I haven't even dated or seen anyone else...
@@anthonycampos8057 Thank you Anthony, he was an amazing officer. He was the type of guy that if he saw a person taking food or diapers from a store, he'd buy the items for them and then fill the fridge. My heart heals just a little more when I see kindness like yours for someone you hadn't met. Bless You and Yours ❤ thanks again for helping this old lady's heart
Jax's gun jams before he shoots Jury. For a split second, we see the slide stuck, but the sound effects still sound the report as the character is killed.
the knife changes as well. for most of the scene it looks like a buck model 119 with a cocobolo and brass handle ( at 0:08 you can see the entire handle and much of the blade stabbed into the book) but DURING the close up of the stabbing in the hallway, you can see what looks like a larger knife, but it is obviously not the same knife because at 2:53 their is a close up of the knife, showing it has what appears to be a lanyard whole in the handle, not present in the previous shot. ( it would appear that the knife changed during the stabbing as during the previous exchange of words, it still looked like the original knife.) Edit, time stamp updated.
unhinged? He was an idiot. He kidnapped Tara , completely unaware that she and Jax had broken up, all the while Jax was out of the country. He wanted SAMCRO to kill Alvarez and take the money that was in his safe, meanwhile there was no money. Jax and Tara had broken up and yet it was his kidnapping Tara that inadvertently caused their reconciliation. He was a MORON
SOA was the shit for the first few seasons then it progressively went to shit. I still watched it from the get and every new episode as it aired fresh. Only re-watched it all once though.
It had its moments of being good, personally 2 things put me off watching it fully, how they screwed over Juice, from the moment of "your dads black, the bikers will kill you if i tell them" black mail, to him being someones little B in prison and death, Juicey deserved so much better. And jaxs death, that was a bit crap in my view as well. but there are moments in there that are good, Chibs, Tig and Bobby tended to keep me laughing and watching, but Tara ruined alot for me.
I think Kurt Sutter got notified too little, too late to wrap the show up because the finale was a direct contradiction. Jax said to Chibbs after Juice's suicide attempt that, "Sons don't kill themselves."...then lets his Harley veer into the Papa's Goods truck head-on.
this is one of those typical bullshit scenes where normally ppl like Jax would just get shot the minute he entered, but nope the villain has to do his typical drawn out speech of how he's gonna kill the hero and the girl lmao

The police, in real life, often decide that somebody's death was murder, but that they were worthless and had long ago cast their lot with the scum. "It's All In The Game"~Omar Little/The Wire.
Jax to Salazar: Cmon bro, put the axe down. Everything is going to be okay. Salazar puts down the axe Jax guts him: Thats for f**king with my woman Jax is the ultimate gangster
I always thought that Salazar dropping the axe was out of character for him. Dude was pretty hardcore, and I expected him to fight till the bitter end no matter what.

"Put down an axe and I will let you go". Exactly in what way would he let him go lol ? Locked doors would magically open after he put an axe down ? And if he was going to let him go, why not let him go with an axe. What's problem if he keeps an axe ? just step aside and let him go. This basic rational thoughts never enter minds of movie characters.
