I think jax is secretly trying to find an exit and it's slowly making him go insane and he is aware of his own mental state he figured that the only way to make the others not to abstract or get upset so he trys to as mean as possible or he's mind is being corrupted do to abstractions

Jax will not get abstracted in episode 3 because abstraction only happens when you are obsessed with an exit and Jax is not. Also, episode 3 will be ABOUT Jax and before he came to the circus, it was confirmed by gooseworks. He is only mean to people so people do not abstract the reason I say that is because you said he is never alone, but that is because he does not want people to even think about abstracting. He did not go to the funeral so he won’t think of abstraction and go crazy. I hope this helped

Yeaaaaaah, nah. Jax aint gonna abstract. He's not insane (or at least isn't enough to be close to abstraction) and all of those "evil" things he does he most likely does cause they're in a video game world, death isn't really a concern (unless abstracted) and in the episode, Kinger even says that "If worst comes to worst, we could always ask Caine to find her." when Ragatha is worried about Pomni when she and Gummigo (or however you spell his name) clip underneath the map. That shows that even Kinger knows that Pomni is technically fine. Shaken up at most, but all in all, fine

Its already been confirmed by the creator that there will be pleanty more examples of his jerkiness. He wont be abstracting anytime soon.

I severily doubt Jax will Abstract in Ep3. He will either cause s**t to hit the fan through the season which will end with his (or someone else's) abstraction. But is clear things are set with him antagonistical end to Ragatha's morality/sanity to deal with the madness of the inevitable end to Abstraction which would be a trigger for Pomni.

Gooseworks also mentioned that we're going to see a lot more of Jax in future episodes. One of the content warnings for the show was Jax in fact XD I think the concept art could be from an episode that gets into his background. Maybe he'll even break his act and we'll see that he DOES care about the main cast, he just also knows that they can't actually die unless they abstract. He clearly cared about Kaufmo to an extent because throughout the whole pilot episode it seemed like he was hiding the fact that he was grieving. He was finding any kind of distraction he could find which could easily explain why he seemed more tame then than he does in the second episode. It could also be possible that he's convincing himself that nothing in the Digital Circus is real to prevent himself from facing acceptance and when he discovers that abstraction in the Digital world causes death in real life, he'll break. Just some theories I had though. :3 I doubt he's gonna abstract in the third episode, maybe later down the line when the characters start to get attached to him lol

I don’t think this is true because Jax is so loved by many fans that he’s equivalent to the stinger the amazing digital circus show like an oldies if the stinger is removed then it dies, which is removed from the show will suffer, massive limits of popularity and money, and even if goose tries to stop the madness by introducing another character that’s almost just like it. It still wouldn’t be the same because keep in mind goose could’ve reacted too late and the damage would already been done or she could’ve done something that would make the character more hated, causing the digital Circus to have even bigger plum of sales that is deeply connected Jax to the show, even if he temporally killed it can cause a massive plummet of sales, in very short amount of time since Minnie Jack fans would think that Jack would be gone permanently so in conclusion, Jack’s has a very low chance of being removed. It’s not because goose does not want to remove him from the show, but it’s because she is worried about the consequences that could happen.
