Great interview. I love it when its about music and production and music goals. Interesting the genre fact I think he has a long way to go in terms of neo soul but hes getting there. Hes very talented and driven

Listening to JayB talk about the process of his album and how others in H1ghr had an input/opinion and helped him, is miles from sitting in a recording studio with jyp and having him criticise everything. He is having so much fun and he is really enjoying himself, I am happy to see that.

이번 앨범도 다음에 나올 앨범도 다 모두 소중해 💝 재범이가 좋아하고 하고 싶은 음악하면서 행복하다면 나두 행복하고 고뇌의 시간으로 잠시 내려놓는다해도 난 여전히 내 자리에서 꿋꿋하게 기다리며 그 시간도 함께 하겠지 길을 가다 넘어질수도 있고 다른 길로 돌아갈수도 있고 때론 더 쉬운 지름길로 간다해도 무엇이든 재범이가 하는거면 난 같은 길을 가고 있을거야 지금까지의 재범이도 앞으로 더 판타스틱하게 펼쳐질 재범이도 항상 지지할게✋ 그냥 사람 임재범이 너무 좋다 재범이의 팬이라서 참 다행이다🌴☯️💖

@Trinity M I did not say he had my respect because of his lack of confidence. Rather his humility , respect (for everyone he worked with on this album) and slight lack of confidence (that everyone he collabed with might not have been entirely eager to work with him) had me a little sad and emotional (because he is an amazing artist). Hence the sad emoji after the three dots. And the fist was meant to represent respect but ‘Fighting’. As in we’re all cheering for him and his success on this new path of his career.

JayB is an artist that genuinely loves music and loves to DO music, so seeing him now being able to freely experiment new music and get different input and opinions from the people he works with - it brings me joy. Thank you, HIPHOPPLAYA for inviting Jay B and posting this wonderful interview. He admitted to being nervous, but he looked so comfortable and relaxed. Thank you for creating that space for him. It seems to me when you're with him it's not just an interview, it's an experience. I got that vibe here. And thank you for the English subtitles and the time stamps! jayb joining h1ghr and making music the way he loves has probably helped him a lot growing as an artist understanding the process and we fans received this new better side of jayb as a musician shining brighter than ever,,I'm so happy for him and proud of him seeing him transitioning from a stage in his career to another stage loving the process and u can tell he is really happy with the new environment with h1ghr and everything in between ♡♡ looking forward to everything jaebeom will bring out for us🖤

I'm glad JAY PARK scouted JAY B. Jay B used to talk about not being able to do music freely before. How his compositions were declined by former agency without even listening to it longer than they should have. I'm glad he is free to do music now. Good luck JAY B!

I used to think this interview brought me old contents about him, but it wasn't. He knows many artists in hip-hop world, he's ready to contact and work with them. He's good at this way even he feels nervous but still does it well. I really like this and respect him a lot because it's too hard for me to do in reality. Already an RnB winner in my eyes. I love that Neo Soul is the genre that he connects with. He's always put that out there. I still really love that he connected with JayP, still blows my mind. SIU and BTW are my favorites on the album along with Fame.
