These are the verses/slokas/mantras he is chanting in between rounds: nama-srestham manum api saci-putram atra svarupam rupam tasyagrajam uru-purim mathurim gostavatim radha-kundam giri-varam aho radhika-madhavasam prapto yasya prathita-krpaya sri gurum tam nato 'smi I am fully indebted to Sri Gurudeva because has given me so many things: the highest conception of the holy name of Krsna, the highest form of sound, which contains the highest form of thought, aspiration, ideal, everything. And he has given me the service of our great savior, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, and His dearmost assistant, Svarupa Damodara. He has brought me in connection with Sri Rupa, who was ordered to distribute the heart’s innermost dealings, the highest devotional love, raganuga-bhakti. Gurudeva has given me Srila Sanatana Goswami, who gives us sambandha-jnana, a proper acquaintance with the environment, and he has given me Mathura Mandala, which will help me in my remembrance of Radha and Govinda wherever I shall cast my glance. By his grace gurudeva has revealed the super excellent position of Radha-kunda, the favorite place of Radha and Govinda for Their pastimes and this great Govardhana. Lastly, he has given me the hope that one day I can get the service of Sri Sri Radhika and Madhava. I have been given all these assurances by my gurudeva, so I bow my head with all my respects to his lotus feet. (Sri Mukta-carita, Srila Raghunatha dasa Gosvami) tavaivasmi tavaivasmi / na jivami tvaya vina iti vijnaya devi tvam / naya mama caranantikam I am Yours! I am Yours! I cannot live without You! O Devi (Radha), please understand this and bring me to Your lotus feet.” (Vilapa Kusumanjali, Verse 96, Srila Raghunatha Dasa Goswami) ha devi kaku-bhara-gadgadayadya vaca yace nipatya bhuvi dandavad udbhatartih asya prasadam abudhasya janasya krtva gandharvike nija-gane gananam vidhehi O Goddess! In great distress I prostrate myself before You, falling on the ground, praying piteously unto You with faltering voice. O Gandharvike! After You bestowed Your mercy on this fool, count him (her) amongst Your own people! (Sri Gandharva Samprarthanastakam, Verse 2, Srila Rupa Goswami) anga-syamalima-chatabhir abhito mandi-krtendivaráḿ jadyam- jaguda-rocisam- vidadhatam- pattambarasya sriya vrndaranya-vilasinammm- hrdi lasad-damabhir amodaraḿ radha-skandha-nivesitojjvala-bhujam- dhyayema damodaram On Lord Damodara, whose dark bodily luster embarrasses the blue lotus flowers, the splendor of whose silken garments stuns the glory of yellow kuìkuma, who enjoys transcendental pastimes in Vrndavana forest, whose chest is fragrant with a brilliant flower garland, and whose magnificent arm rests on Radha’s shoulder, let us meditate. (Stavamala, Srila Rupa Goswami) na vai yace rajyam na ca kanaka-manikya-vibhavam na yace ‘ham ramyam sakala jana-kamyam vara-vadhum sada kale kale pramatha-patina gita-carito jagannathah svami nayana-patha-gami bhavatu me I do not pray for a kingdom nor do I pray for gold, rubies, or wealth. I do not ask for a beautiful wife as desired by all men. I simply pray that Jagannatha Svami, whose glories Lord Siva always sings, may be the constant object of my vision. ( Sri Sri Jagannathastakam, Verse 7, Sri Adi Shankaracharya) padabjayos tava vina vara-dasyam eva nanyat kadapi samaye kila devi yace sakhyaya te mama namo 'stu namo 'stu nityam dasyaya te mama raso 'stu raso 'stu satyam O queen, I shall never ask You for anything other than direct service to your lotus feet. I offer my respectful obeisances to Your friendship. I offer my respectful obeisances to Your friendship again and again. May I find Your service as sweet as nectar. May I find Your service as sweet as nectar. (Vilapa Kusumanjali, Verse 16, Srila Raghunatha Dasa Goswami) sri-rupa-manjari-kararcita-pada-padma- gosthendra-nandana-bhujarpita-mastakayah ha modatah kanaka-gauri padaravinda- samvahanani sanakais tava kim karisye O golden-complexioned girl, when You are laying with Your head in Krsna's lap and Your feet are in the lap of Rupa-manjari, and she is massaging Your feet, will Rupa-manjari, with the corners of her eyes, offer me her mahaprasadam seva of gently massaging Your feet while she fans You (Vilapa Kusumanjali, Verse 72, Srila Raghunatha Dasa Goswami)

probably the same reason why His Divine Grase Srila Gurudevas chanting is considered by certain people to be only halve the nessecarry requirement and the other halve they speculate to be fulfilled by this distracting poing-poing and droning background noise, sad realy...
