Kendrick lamar has the highest rated album of all time. dude had andre 3000 to be the first person to listen to good kid mad city. and hes the only rapper i hear actually speaking faxs about society and feelings. and both cole and drake cant make something like to pimp a butterfly none of their albums come close to that level nowhere. Kendrick Lamar is the greatest rapper of this generation.

If you didn’t grow up in the inner city I understand why you wouldn’t relate to K Dot . Drake and Cole are not a representative of the average kid who group up around gangs , drugs , poverty and violence . It’s why Good Kid MAAD City and TPAB and MMATBS are respected .

I fck with Cole but he's just growing as an MC and he's in good form, but that doesn't mean he's better than Kendrick. This Cole vs Kendrick I entertained it till the "Black Friday" joint when I noticed the gap between both in terms of skill set. I'm not a fan of neither but before that joint I would take Kendrick over Cole off discography and skill set, but after that joint I started questioning the comparisons, it was giving "they're the only mainstream conscious rappers, we gotta pit them against each other just for the sake of entertainment, not for making sense". Now Drake... lmao ghostwriting aside (which disqualifies him from the conversation), he's been extremely washed up and burnt out for 8 years, I would even relegate him to a mixtape aspiring rapper (that's struggling to find his identity by still mimicking who's and what's hot but in the worst way possible for the sake of feining for money and fame ). Only his popularity and industry push are putting him in the conversation because his craft and form have been extremely poor to be in the same breath as Cole and let alone Kendrick.
