I'm halfway in and just the pure fact that besides filthy groove he's in and that deep, linty ass pocket, this dude is so in tune with what he's playing he never forgets the crescendo at the end of each phrase. Concentration, placement, timing, geeez. I been watching this guy on RU-vid for 4 years and his growth is amazing. Definitely gonna be the one you hear on the albums and at the tours. Play on bro
Been watching and listening since the young man was about 15 he's been gifted with this. He's a natural. He always keep that pocket no matter what. The whole band holding but it's the bass and the drums for me

Everytime I see this young man play I'm in awe of how he just keeps growing and growing and reaching some crazy levels in his drumming. D Abernathy for all you know they could’ve decided on that alternative beat to the song,I’d even go as far to say for all you know they/he could’ve prayed on it and that could of been how God was constraining him to not only worship, But for that beat to play apart in everything getting on one accord to usher God and his agenda in the atmosphere of the house, or at the very least being the soundtrack to the point in time that God interceded on someone’s behave.D Abernathy I understand there’s a business side to what we do as musicians even if it is for God but HOWEVER before I’m a musician I’m a man of God, I’m a worshiper,I come to church because I want what God has for my life and I need instruction on how to get it which is why my main concern is letting Jesus take his place in all that I offer to him. But I say all that to say my Job as a man of God comes before my job as a Bass player.
