Lmao Kimmel blasted him on his own show for screwing Conan over, so yea its not really a mystery why he doesnt like him.

Conan is the only late night host that makes me laugh from start to finish.

I was always on team Letterman, which also puts me on team Kimmel and team Conan. I don't hate Jay Leno like a lot of people do, but I do think it was it a total dick move to steal the Tonight Show from Letterman. If that wasn't bad enough he stole the Tonight Show again in 2011, this time from Conan O'Brien, who he promised he would hand the show over to 5 years earlier. He even noted that he wanted to avoid the drama he experienced when vying for the job at the Tonight Show after Carson retired. He broke that promise in a very literal sense, and that's a dick move.

Johnny Carson got big stars to do bits because he was close friends with them. Fallon basically say, "If you want to promote your show or movie, you're going to perform tricks for me."

Never a Leno fan, not a Fallon fan. Letterman was funnier and more clever than both of them combined. Fallon thinks he's hysterical....he laughs at his jokes more than anyone else. Haven't wasted an hour of my life watching Fallon ever...

In the docuseries "The Story Of Late Night" Kimmel confirmed how he came from radio where it's common to fight with your competition. However, since then the two mended fences when Jay reached out to Kimmel during his son's heart surgery scare. Kimmel later said in an interview "I'd be a jerk to keep hating Jay," so this is a pretty dated segment. Feud's over.

Well, Leno doesn't like anybody that's better than him. He has never been close to the greatness of Letterman. Not even half funny or intelligent as Kimmel, Conan, or Colbert. He says Kimmel has a mean streak but that's just because Jimmy roasted him regarding the way he screwed Conan years back. And Fallon is just the worst Late Night host around today. He started strong with The Tonight Show with the games, the lip sync battles, and other sketches. But when all these things wore out it became clear that he is not that funny or insightful and also a very bad interviewer.

I think both of these two knuckleheads Fallon and Leno should have been left in the wings in a woman put in the coveted Carson spot. Joan Rivers was a welcome change to the sausage fest. She was a great and comparable successor Carson next to her, Leno and Fallon, were leagues behind her.
