I love how honest he is about the BTS collab. Like most artists would probably be like "yea sure". I would love to see them collab seeing as they're two of my favorite artists but at the same time they make two completely different kinds of music. So him saying the music has to be right in order for a collab to happen is accurate

@piat8425
@piat8425 6 лет назад
Yeah, exactly. Like it's easy to just nod and say you're game for a collab, but to be honest about the fact that their music might not fit is admirable. I think on Jay's part, it's just who he is, he's always been genuine anyway. I do think he might match Hobi tho. They're both fans of that boom-bap beat and have different enough rapping styles that it could still be interesting.

So your response isn't valid If you're going to make a point you should at least know what you're talking about. He got on Jay's label because he has talent, he's releasing an album now because he has talent and Jay/Roc Nation recognize that as music professionals.

As a black person/African American, I am very fascinated by Asian Americans in this country. I believe that they have tremendous potential to really make it big here in the United States in the entertainment and music industry. Jay Park is a perfect example. I pray that he starts to focus more of endeavors here in the United States because trust me there is a huge market for people like him. Looks like it is time for him to really challenge himself again. He has kicked ass in South Korea now it is time for him to kick a lot of ass here in the United States.

Many Kpop fans deny that kpop is derived from our music. I've been following for 4 years now and I hear and see American influence all up and down kpop. Jay has always stayed true to himself. That's why he was chosen out of all the gazillion(yes, I'm exaggerating) kpop/hip hop artists. I also love music crossing boundaries and that includes choreo too. It's amazing to see like someone in Sweden at a twerk fest in their country.

And he's like the only Korean artists that ever features POC in his videos... and I think 'Me Like Yuh' was also the first time a black girl was the main romantic interest in a Korean mv

I really liked his answer for the BTS collab. I hope people dont ask every Korean artist the same question. I honestly cant imagine a BTS x Jay Park collaboration. I dont think it would be a good choice. But a collaboration with RM would be awesome.

same! I think J-Hope and Jay would be a good match for a collab and maybe also with Tinashe since bouth are big fans of her ^^

A collab with him and Yoongi would be amazing all the rappers in BTS have great intensity but Yoongi is hard core he’s like my Korean DMX 😂

same. like if it happened it would be fire, because jay wouldnt do it if the sound wasnt there. but their styles dont scream "omg they should be on the same track" mot even the rap line imo. if i was gonna wish for jay to collab with an idol rapper i'd probably ask for park kyung. and for bts to collab with a solo korean rapper then... maybe flowsik?
