1:47 "Championships" is pretty vague, you could include every pro win in that list. The Mr. Olympia is just the biggest show. He had 15 pro wins. 3x Arnold Classic, 4x Mr. Olympia.
It's exposure on national television. Of course he doesnt need 50k....especially for 10% of his company. All of these people know each other behind d the scenes
Keep in mind that there are a lot of people pitching products with a lot more money than him. It's very rarely about needing a loan. Some people may not have the money, and may need ones, but generally it's about getting a shark, and getting those connections and guidance from them, as well as a lot more capital if necessary. If that doesn't work the then the exposure and publicity can be huge, and many go on just for that, although the sharks frown upon people not actually looking for a deal. Watch the show, you'll understand it better. It's actually a really good show.
True, but there are guys with more money than that that have pitched their products. Not everyone on there is on there because they NEED the money. If you watch the show more you'll see that. It's a great show in my opinion as well.
@@tctc1303 Yeah, the sharks have a ton more money than him. Definitely guys pitching their products that had a lot more money that him as well. There are many reasons to go on there, it's not just about needing the money because you don't have it. The connections, the mentors, the publicity, so many reasons.
I'm assuming you don't watch the show. I mean there have been many many big names pitching products, a lot bigger names that Jay, as Jay is relatively small time in terms of who knows who he is, and he doesn't have a ton of money compared to the guys of this show, although he does have way more than the average guy pitching, that's for sure. People don't just go on there because they need money, some do. A lot of the time they want a relationship with a shark, who have tons of money and tons of connections to help make their product much more successful, a mentor, and publicity is always important even if nothing else happens. You should consider watching the show, it's a really good show in my opinion.
@@billj4525 Yes i do watch the show , i mean not all the episodes but yes i guess i did cross atleast 50 so far . For someone like Jay with world wide recognition its easy for him to get connected with them .
Just watched this segment. Like the concept, not the price. I make my own, it isnt that difficult and I am not the target audience in spite of having multiple dogs. Hope they make it, know lots of people that would be interested in this product. Will keep my eyes open . . .
True, but there are guys with a lot more money than him that have been on there looking for a deal. You have to realize it's not about a loan, there's a lot more to it than that.
Met Jay at the Philly FitExpo in 2018. Super nice guy. And spent plenty of time with each fan individually for a photo. He flexed his now 20” guns and I flexed my 18 inchers for a great pic.
He definitely can, but a lot of the guys on the show can. They want to work with a shark with connections and make a ton more than they would have. If that's not the case, then they just want the exposure. Try watching the show, you'll likely enjoy it and understand it better.
Anytime I see Jay I immediately think of the Cribs-style video that he shot. When he's touring his office, he shows off his entertainment system and flips on the tv to reveal some, let's call it, adult entertainment 😂. I've included the link. It happens around the 17 min mark. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y26vuun3nck.htmlsi=DOildsw3tuQWf6MV
Dude just promoted his product on national TV for free essentially. The pitch wasn't even real. No way they give up 10% for 50k. Successful buisness is all about marketing, and Jay knows how to get that done
Jay has net worth of around 30 millions USD, anyone who thinks he is there to get some money is a fool, he is cleverly using shark tank platform to advertise his product, he is genius
Didn’t need the money didn’t want to shark/partner went on the show for the exposure which she’s entitled to, but maybe took the spot of an entrepreneur that really could have used the exposure and needed the help of a shark… He’s not clean, right??
Im glad i watch shark tank. I take note of the products they endorse so i never buy anything from them if they endorse it, it is guaranteed to be 100 times more expensive
You don't watch if you're asking that. It's a great show, and you'll understand it better if you watch. I mean there have been tons of guys on there who have a lot more money than him looking for a deal. It's about the connections and what the sharks can do for them. Some may go on not even looking for a deal, they just want exposure for their product. The show is not just about a lone. In fact even a lot the small entrepreneurs don't need the lone.
@@Jay-ju9jwThis isn't about the bbing world... This is a pet product for anyone. The majority of these people going on the show have millionaire dollar valuations. That whole point of the show is to establish a business partnership not getting more money.
I dont know i think jay being associated with pro bodybuilding made everyone automatically think roids and the all just avoided him. Its actually an excellent idea. But just to darn expensive
This is so dumb. What he's talking about is already available at any high end grocery story. You know what's in the organic almond butter i buy? Almonds thats it (although i wish they added some salt so i didn't have to remember to add a pinch). My wife buys this combo nut butter, and its just nuts and flax seed.
