I used to think so, until two of my male friends had paternity tests done on their kids who looked just like them - turns out, they weren't the fathers. One of the children was 5 and the other was 9 when these men found out they were not the father. My friend was almost 19 when her mom got mad at her dad and told him he wasn't the father, paternity test proved he wasn't the father.

In 1973 I was adopted by my family when I was 2 wks old. Up until then, I was in a temporary foster home. The older I got, people would say how I am my dad's twin. To this day they say we look alike.
