Just not understood or viewed as what it is. Even if it was properly seen it’s not the same outcome from that kinda person. It’s good how it is, if not what people would think is greatest the fans do I guess. Not even about that I just know what I mean but idk how to say it isn’t needed to explain fuck it
I'm glad it's underappreciated,...if everyone was listening and loving it it'd become another decent thing that was stolen, then ruined........ let's keep it to the few people who feel the words♥️
Update: holy shit this isn’t just MN anymore, major cities all around America have begun protests, and probably going to become riots eventually let’s not kid ourselves. This is a crazy time to be alive man
*"Human beings in a mob. What's a mob to a King? What's a King to a God? What's a God to a non-believer, who don't believe in anything?"* Ok but Frank is legendary for this verse.
Because the people that control this world knew way ahead of time how things were going to pan out I mean ffs they’ve been fueling this racial hatred ever since 2008. This was the plan all along, divide and conquer using popular media and social media to incite hatred amongst ethnic groups.
Kanye said there was no church in the wild, then created a church in the wild by doing Sunday service outside when they grew out of their rehearsal space.
Fyi, it was shot by Romain Gavras, french film-maker, also did videos for M.I.A. Part of Kourtrajmé collective with Kim Chapiron. Good stuff. www.imdb.com/name/nm0310615/
The video and song have reference points on the Greek Crisis and the Riots of 2008 (Death of Alexander Grigoropulos, shot by a Police officer, aged 15) The uniforms of the Riot Police are vintage Greek Riot Police uniforms from the 80s.
Idk if I would say more than ever. This is the second time in my lifetime that we've had riots. My mom's generation has had 3. I'm just hoping that this time things will change and it will be the last. I can't figure out if this is art imitating life or life imitating art. This seems to happen every 30 or 40 years.
@@yvettebowles9011 not across the nation all at once nor worldwide protests. 2020 was a turning point. I never saw anything like that ever throughout history
A recurrent situation is a sign of very serious unresolved issues- and has nothing to do with history. Humanity is high on emptiness and doesn’t even remember what Hope really feels like))) 🔥
I showed my girlfriend this thinking she would like it, she said "ehhh it's okay" a few days later she found out frank Ocean was the chorus and now she really likes the song.. I think she has a crush on the guy
SÙPRÊMË WÈST and i guess you are the holy angel perfect from the heavens of our father to come on a song that you claim people that listen to is “devil worshipers” .... hmmm ,... ok..... i’m just wondering why were you here in the first place .... mr.holy .... it’s the damn devilish darkest people calling other people devil worshippers 🤦🏾♀️💅🏿
@@pinkandbluenetwork6181 lmao ,🤗well my dear I was just scrolling down my RU-vid section .....and (HUH) would you look at RU-vid putting random videos in my recommendations 😫😩😖😞RU-vid must you do this 😊 anyways I clicked it and then felt a terrible evil Aurora/meaning 🤗🙃😒
This song should get more credit than it does. It's deep on so many levels, and so well done. As a rap fan since about '86, glad to see real shit is still being made.
Milk Fuentes LOL, well, not all of it. But it's deeper than most current rap. "Is Pious pious 'cause God loves pious? Socrates asked whose bias do y'all seek? All for Plato, screech". Check out the annotations from Lyrics Genius. genius.com/Kanye-west-no-church-in-the-wild-lyrics
Apart from the "blood stains the Colosseum doors" line, I think the decision to use this particular song for the Gladiator II trailer has to do with its story. Even though we only got a glimpse of it, I´m sure it´ll have to do with, as most of Roman Empire related movies, opression from the powerful, injustice and rebellion. Also, this song sounds so epic it matches perfectly the movie atmosphere!
It doesn't, it's cringe rap in a movie supposed to be epic. Hans Zimmer would be more fitting like the first one. Literally 90% of the people disliked the trailer inmediately upon hearing it.
This song is awesome, but Body’s awesome too. They may be both rap but they both are for completely different purposes. If you don’t enjoy Megan’s song, then you’re probably just not the intended audience. But nothing’s stoping you from listening to “luxury rap production”
no its what happens when a cop kills an armed black man the liberal media just doesn't want to acknowledge that and i say a cop because there have been reports of black cops killing black men but nobody says shit when that happens right
A real work of art, and a musical masterpiece. I want that horse, OMG it's sheer awesomeness. I've worked and trained horses, but I haven't a clue how they got that horse not to shy and buck, and go bug nutty. The elephant was pretty amazing too.
you're absolutely right the media isn't broadcasting half what's going on in ferguson , their mazing little children , tear gas in the homes and there were tanks sent in here.
Vanessa Mendoza This is what the global elites had planned long ago.... Detroit is just the beginning, now they are showing these things, because now they hold most of the worlds wealth. Its a form of population control. But trust the Lord, even the elites have to answer for their sins.
MC Bol right it definitely means something that coming soon! A collapse is coming in the system f how things is done currency and such. Digital currency is up next money will be decentralized, that’s enough to piss off the elites.
One of the best music videos in my opinion. Captures the madness and brutality of violent riots while at the same time being very symbolic and beautiful
@@chrisj3423 I've listened to it, and it kinda ruins the vibe tbh, i prefer the original, the world maybe hates yeezy, but when he gone, they'll understand that he is Modern Jimi Hendrix
Crazy how this song has surpassed 100 million views on RU-vid. I honestly never saw this track as THAT big - it's amazing to see this level of appreciation it deserves.
I always thought of Kanye as a guy with mediocre music who got famous and etc. but bruh, this man is a lyrical genius, his songs are amazing and my perception of him has forever changed
@@nedirtydaniel5773 “Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:7-8 “Imagine for a second an innocent man on death row. You know he's not guilty, but he is set to be executed. Would you be willing to die in that man's place? Most people would not and would consider it a tragedy that an innocent man was executed. However, imagine a man on death row who is guilty and is about to receive the penalty for his crime. You decide to die for that man in his place allowing him to go free. This is exactly what God did for us.”
HOW TO HAVE ETERNAL LIFE IN HEAVEN WHEN YOUR BODY DIES AND HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD WHO LOVES YOU: believe in the Son of God: ~John 3:16 (NIV) "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." WHAT EXACTLY DOES BELIEVING IN GOD'S SON MEAN?: accept God's testimony about his Son: ~1 John 5:10: "Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son." WHAT IS GOD'S TESTIMONY ABOUT HIS SON? here it is: ~1 John 5:11-13 "And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life." DO I HAVE TO DO ANY WORKS? no! you are saved freely! you will go to heaven when you die now! Reference verses: ~John 6:26-29 "Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.” Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”" ~Ephesians 2:8-9: " For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast." ~Romans 4:2-8: " If, in fact, Abraham was justified by works, he had something to boast about-but not before God. What does Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation. However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness. David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the one to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: “Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.”" ~Romans 3:20-31: "Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin. But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood-to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished- he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus. Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith. For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law. Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too, since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith. Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law." Am I saved forever now? no need to worry? yep! you are sealed with the Holy Spirit! ~Ephesians 1:13-14: "And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession-to the praise of his glory." I still find myself sinning- why? ~Romans 7:14-24: "We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do-this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin." -
Among the strongest visuals I have seen. This is rap of the highest artistic quality. The lyrics, the music, the visuals...poetry that will ring true forever. Can be related to by people across the globe.
Anthony Glover Not even "You can't tell me nothing" or "flashing lights" remember that.. she don't believe in shooting stars, she believe in shoes and cars
Man this hits real hard at this point in time, especially considering everything we’ve been put through the last 2 years! I’m surprised the streets don’t resemble the music video!
Unpopular opinion, this is the greatest rap song of all time. 10 years ago this came out, everything rapped in this, is still true till this day. The meaning behind jay-z’s verse, that verse alone might be one of the greatest in history. This song will stay relevant forever no matter what time period we are in this song will stay true to what happens in this world past, present, or future. Very powerful song.
No Mina Mommo, those aren't rappers. Wiz Khalifa is a child. Tupac is a rapper. It's like two species of the same tree frog. One's poisonous, the other can be made into a delicious soup.
