Jay Z was well spoken and it was apparent how much he cared and had thought about it. However, From Kanye West busting onto stage while someone else was receiving a Grammy to Jay Z today, I think there is a time and place for this kind of speech and this was not it. And how do some people not fall into a Grammy category for album of the Year? Is it only supposed to be for R&B? If not, it's just a fact that people have different tastes in music and not having won in the past does not qualify you to win in another year.

'03-'06 Beyonce appealed to me the most.Her most soulful years imo.Outside of the music, I thought she was the most beautiful girl on the planet.I even had a cotdamn Beyonce pillow case!Trying to force her into my dream.By '06, life happened.I went to college, got a girlfriend, and for reasons I can't explain;never cared to check for Beyonce's music anymore.Not just her music.Music in general.I'd hear it in passing, but nothing grabbed me anymore.When people say she deserved to win Album Of The Year multiple times, I just take their word for it.Even tho I'm not an avid listener, it's not hard to tell she has Grammy level pedigree.

Beyonce has enough Grammy Awards and other Awards but still crying for more and Jay had to speak up for her,you can’t win it all

She hasn’t won album of the year because I imagine they look at each nominee in many aspects and pick the one that put out those most work which includes songwriting and performance..I feel Beyoncé is a great singer and performer however it takes a lot more than that to be an album artist and sales aren’t everything either when it comes to judging music artists

Beyoncé has literally put out a ton of work over the last couple of years. That woman spent 12 years planning her Renaissance tour. She consistently brings out new music of all genres that sound amazing. The girl is pure talent and no she has not been fully recognized for it. Jay Z was absolutely right about everything he said in response to her not receiving an award that is only giving to the most popular artist at the time.
