U know there's certain small decisions that cyx makes. Like waiting a second before peaking and backing immediately after hooking where I thought I would be safe. Idk this dude has made me a way better player by realizing all the little nuances of hog.
I was impressed at 9:18 because I know for a fact I would not have been as patient with my whole hog and the enemy hog would have survived with their damage reduction and the knock back pushing them away but when I saw cyx wait it made so much sense
@@Commanderow yes but it wouldn't be such a big diff. Have you ever played hog ana againdt a hog without an ana? You can literally do whatever you want. You can get hooked 10 and you get away whereas the other hog only needs to be hooked once and he's dead. Ana creates a lot of pace for you because of sleep and nade.
I watched this on jays stream and their mercy was absolutely leaving hog to die every time 😭😭like she held jays hand the whole time and even called him their best player 😭😭😭
Yet the ashe was just dying as much as the hog, even with all these pocketing. The ashe spent too much time on farming dmg on cyx, but at the of the day getting picks is what matters.
@@machinegunners3000 Tbh ashe is kinda like a dps version of sigma/orisa, total dmg is high but thir final blows(not elim) are low, Sure, the ashe can stay on the high ground farm dmg on cyx with a mercy pocket, but their team was contesting point 3v5.
My damage record was 43k hero damage with ashe back in overwatch 1... against a goats comp except they had 2 tanks with a bastion. It was junkertown. The reason for my high damage is that goats comp stays close so my dynamites would hit EVERYONE. We lost the game 😂
Hog is historically good for high damage numbers on the opposing team, every time I face a hog I have 30% more damage than normal but don't win just because of it
@@thessjbacca5177 Dirt is a very good hog player, but his playing style (or hooking style should I say?) didnt really work in this scenairo. I've watched dirt's stream, he likes doing those risky/flashy hooks, which works the best when the fight is chaotic. But in this match, his teammate ashe was playing far away with a mercy pocket, so he has to contest point 3v5 (without a kiriko at first half), while cyx played safe with ana on his team, it just didnt work.
I think the enemy hog could survived that bc of the damage reduction he has with take a breather and he maybe could get away with the pushback from cyx so he waited
Yeah that's why you see he has 48 eliminations here 19:20 Farming the tank for damage, that's how you get 48 elims boys and girls. At least watch the video closely before talking shit bro.
You don't won cause ure good but it's because hog is brain-dead broken, from this game is easy to realise that Ur game sense is at plat level but you play in high elo just because hog is broken. I mean is not Ur fault why you need game sense when Ur character is immortal. God I hope hog got deleted
