At first vale talking about the struggles of de realization and de personalization triggered me but the way she talked about her coping mechanisms and just being so real about it and spreading awareness on the subject was so comforting and healing ❤ so happy for the growth Jayco & vale have had and wishing them a lifetime of happiness and health in this new chapter. These guests were definitely a breath of fresh air, love the usual content always but idk it seemed so light and comforting

Its beautiful to hear jayco and valentina talk about their spirituality in such an open way and thats all because the boys made them feel that comfortable even if they themselves are as religious, that’s true friendship there. And the talk about the importance of being present in your world and the dangers of our virtual one. Life’s too short to not make every day count because you never when will be your last day and imagine spending it online.

I went through what Val went for about 2 years. I actually treated it really bad. I would drink to the point where I would black out so I wouldn’t feel it. I’ve finally overcome it well actually just learned to control it.

This is why I love you guys! And appreciate jay&Val being so upfront about their relationship with God and her experiences with anxiety and derealization episodes cause I literally have the same story! I tripped off an edible (it was 5 mini brownies I ate at school & had no clue they were even edibles😂) but I struggled for a year with that! This is the first time ever hearing that someone had the same experience… I also love that sweetea was so welcoming and loving of their friends choices and such. ❤

I’m glad Val speaks on depersonalization and derealization with her platform. I have tried to explain this to people around me for years and nobody understand. You couldn’t understand unless it happens to you. I feel like it makes people look at us crazy for speaking about the way we feel. I took pills one night, smoked and drank the next day and I never again have done drugs. Mine also lasted two years on and off and it will still happen here and there. Maybe once a year. Please take precaution when taking any drugs. Even sometimes when I’m with a big crowd of people, such as my fiancé family I will start to overthink that I’m in danger and feel like they’re all staring at me.

Vale’s exact experience happened to me and every since that bad trip my anxiety only got worse and I’ve never been the same. Struggle with panic attacks and anxiety and depression many similar things. Also agoraphobia because of a panic attack that I had in public. So I’m still struggling even months later but hopefully with time and process things will get better. Super grateful to hear Vales story it made me feel less alone and brought comfort. Mental illnesses are very much real and we aren’t crazy. It needs to be talked about more.

So crazy!! My sister would sleep with me and I would breath heavily so she knew it was happening to me. Once she touched my hand, it would go away. For me it’s the energy as well, and crazy scary visuals. They say it’s based on stress and sleep but I believe it’s definitely a spirit. You may not believe this but I used to get sleep paralysis every day my junior year for 3 months straight and then it would happen every other month. Each time it happened, it became stronger and it felt harder to break out of it.

I’m rewatching this, but Julian you need to read this book called “The Untethered Soul”. I was going through the worst overthinking phase ever idk wtf it was but I was in my head sooooo bad and could not get myself to stop thinking or stop the thoughts from coming in I just couldn’t stop but then someone introduced me to this book and right away even just the first chapter helped me so much. I definitely recommend for you to read this if you’re struggling with overthinking bc I was too really bad and this helped me love y’all 💜💜💜

I have had so many experiences with sleep paralysis, and it got to the point where I would be scared to go to sleep at night (as dumb as that sounds) and I also noticed that when I would sleep with someone I wouldn’t get it, or it was easier to wake up from. I also saw dark figures and I used to sleep facing my door and on my side, so it would freakkk me out. Eventually I could feel it coming on and I’d tell myself that I needed to wake up or I’d force myself to open my eyes. I don’t really think it’s spirits, but probably stress?
