JP you said 3-4 years this team be a juggernaut. With every pundit, commentator, and analyst saying Bakhtiari/ Gilmore etc not likely due to wanting to play for a contender, why are we not taking that more seriously. Bringing in an Aiyuk (or other) to show we plan to compere this year would make those players more likely to sign as well. Restructure contracts, trade players (DL) to save cap $, do what everyone else are doing. We have our "franchise QB" on a cheap contract for 5 years. We need to take advantage of that day 1. If we dont upgrade LT, every fan will fear JD repeats RG3, or wonder if we playing "light" to keep injuries down. To get a "good" LT requires us to show we can contend for post season. Waiting 2-4 years before being contenders WILL degrade the fan base. IMHO trade/ restructure/trade.... whatever it takes. Get Aiyuk done. Get Bakhtiari done. Get Gilmore done. Now we can compete. Miss seeing all you guys on the field. Thx

I don't give much credence to offseason ratings, especially SI, Bleacher Report, and ESPN. They want splash signings like Eagles signing Burns, but don't take into consideration the cap he!! they put themselves in, in doing it. Eagles and Dallas lose key players every year because they can't keep them all undr their cap. Had Dallas or NY signed Chinn, Luvu, and Wagner, they would have gone nuts; but we did it, so Wagner is too old, Luvu is too small, etc. Same with getting Quinn over Ben Johnson; I have no doubt we attracted better coaches and players for less cost than BJ would have drawn. Next year Dallas/NY signs BJ and they predict they win the SB. Plus these groups have their favorites; much like you see in college football, its the same teams year in and year out, and when they do lose a game, they slip a couple spots so when they win again, they can move them right back up to the top. You even see teams ranked higher, against teams that actually beat them. So as long as I am happy as a fan, at the direction we are headed, I'm good, and I like what we are doing.
