He's only had 2 injuries the last 5 years. A sprained ankle in 2019 and a concussion in 2023 on a helmet to helmet hit in the pocket. He's a tough dude.
This isnt college anymore, the dude in the nfl dont weigh 198. He isnt built like lamar and isnt nesrly as shifty, so hes got hope that pocket holds@brandondillman5841
@@brandondillman5841stroud is a stand and deliver kind of pocket passer. He can run to extend plays if he has to. This kid will have to rely on that because he cant throw.
Ngl that was mid as hell bro. That first TD pass was not a highlight. Youre delusional if youre trying to say he intended to throw it short when the WR was 5 yards in front of the two dbs and an entire endzone to throw the ball to.
Yeah. I don't really see it. Jayden is faster is a straight line, but Lamar is the most elusive QB in the history of the league. Jayden is a much better passer coming out of college as well. Mechanically flawless and tremendous accuracy at all levels. His anticipation throws are special.
@@brandondillman5841okay so he may be faster than lamar, i dont think so. Lamar was low 4.3s and this guy likely is too. He will never ever, ever, be as good of a passer as lamar. I keep hearing this from people and i think they have just never watched him maybe. This kids absolute ceiling is 75% of lamar.
@@herogibson Lamar was not a great passer in college. He improved a lot once he got to the Ravens. Jayden was the best deep passer in college football and was able to throw over the middle with anticipation regularly. He does need to work on scrambling to extend plays instead of just scrambling to run.
Yeah, double coverage and nobody is moving. All 3 guys are planted just waiting for the ball. In the NFL that is at the very least a bat down. And most probably an EASY INT. Jayden, you can't do this.
Hopefully he has a great career in Washington. Hope they dont do to him like RG3. He looks like a solid QB and nice release. Best of luck to you Washington....from a Texans fan
Highlights? All I see is a guy running around like RG3 and receivers that are wide open or have to intercept balls heading to a defender. This looks like RG3 all over again…ugh
U do know RG3 was rookie of the yr & led his team to the playoffs? RG3 had an old Moss, no help from the TE’s, Josh Gordon, and Pierre Garçon injured for half the season. RG3 got a career ending injury. JD will be fine
@@Theprimaryfocus I wouldn't call this trying. His highlights is him running around and getting bailed out by receivers and drop down passes. Terrible draft lol
I cant believe this kid went in round 1. Great season statistically obviously. Ive heard the lamar comparisons. At this point in lamars career, when he was drafted, he was faster and harder to tackle. He could also throw the ball. The absolute ceiling for this kid is 75% of lamar. Happy for him he got a bag, but he will be looking for a job in 3 years.
Wow, this guy is really bad. Worst than RG3. Waste of a pick. He never throws within the timing frame of the plays, waits until someone opens up after the plays are broken, and has chicken feet that always runs outta pocket. Horrible.
Idk why they’re even showing the highlights they did. These aren’t from this past season. Go look at this years highlights from his heisman campaign. He made serious strides in his game. Like huge strides
