I've been saying he threw in another sweetener in the number swap deal. I'm sure Tress is more than happy to have gone 2 weeks without kicking a football.
I heard someone say no one deserved Jayden Daniels more than Terry McLaurin and damn if that's not the truth. Terry has been nothing but a professional despite the insane number of people who have thrown him the ball. He never complained he just showed up and gave 100% every snap. I hope that he goes for 1300+ and 10+ tds. Imagine if we had last seasons WRs
People who dont know ball will downplay that last throw. Vets arent making that throw in todays game let alone a rookie. Love guys proving the "experts" wrong
No lots of qbs will throw that ball. It's one on one and the defenders back is to ya. You exaggerating a bit. That being said it was a great throw and catch.
Some people were knocking Daniels for his lack of flashy plays compared to Williams. Well that bomb to Terry is the kind of superstar throw very few Qbs can make.
they just don’t understand its not lack of flashiness JD is way more polished and precise he didnt always have to go off schedule hes equally good in the pocket and on the move
Yes! People aren't talking about how well the O-line played last night. Jayden had some clean pockets and they created holes for the running backs. That will be very important going forward.
i remember by buddy and I were so stoked to have him at ASU we knew he was gonna be special. So glad to see him doing good things already. Stay healthy JD..
Daniels is used to blood baths, he’s used to, having a bad defence, and going drive for drive against the other team high scoring games, if the commanders trade a bit of their defence and add more offence weapons watch him he will strive, and win those high scoring games
Bears fan here, I hope Williams succeeds, hell I hope every rookie that comes into the NFL succeeds, but I'll die on the hill of saying before the draft the Bears should have took Daniels and figured out a way to get Nabers as well.
@@FightrForLife I just thought with the current trend of teams getting QBs and WRs from the same team, and them coming into the NFL and having some success, the Bears would have taken the Cincinnati route. Poles is a "mastermind," so I thought he was going to big brain it and pull it off.
@Ithyphallics Brian Thomas Jr was Jayden Daniels' WR2 deep threat at LSU... He finished last year with 68 catches for 1,177 yards and 17 touchdowns, so I'd say he's got pretty good chemistry with Daniels as well... He's not as dynamic as Nabers, but he's still a burner, and they could have got him without trading up. The Jags took him at 23.
I have literally said before the draft was even started that Jayden was the best QB in this class and he should go #1 and that Caleb was not close to the hype he was getting, I wouldn't be surprised if the bears trade him in 4-5 years to try and start over at the QB position
@MrLazerCatt 4-5?? Nah they won't put up with him for longer than 2 years. He couldn't play within structure in college, and definitely can't in the NFL.
Everyone that said this said it for the wrong reason though sadly. They bought into all the fake media stories of him wanting to choose where to go and wanting a percentage of the team or the petty real “antics” like painting his nails but congrats on thinking the reigning heisman would be great
@@damontussing4333 you guys are just gonna forget you said this in 2 years when he’s so good you can’t deny it anymore just like when I had to tolerate with Josh Allen hate for his first few years. The haters just disappear
I know it’s only week 3 but if Jayden can get us to 7 or 8 wins this season, I will be happy. I was only expecting 4. At the very least, It was nice to see an efficient offense two weeks in a row.
I’ve followed Jayden Daniels when he was playing as a 18 year old against Michigan state, he was the team. He missed 3 game that year, ASU wasn’t even competitive. Honestly, they rush back to be bowl eligible. Jayden had his best 2 games, Washington state and Oregon with Justin Herbert. The first game of this season, the o-line couldn’t block and they committed a lot of penalties. Jayden Daniels was running for his life. The o-line has gotten better each game. If they can protect JD this what you’ll get, he never turns the ball and his always looking to throw the ball down the field.
You guys were there when Coach was breaking down Jayden during the draft. Jayden was by far his favorite QB or at least the QB he had the most to say about mechanics
@@AssEater-l3r that pass to McLaurin was a perfect dime. Couldn’t have been placed better. Has to get use to the Big Boys up front rushing him and he’ll do great. I know he hasn’t thrown the ball a lot but he has a good completion rate for the passes he has thrown
Easily could be one of the greatest dual threat QB’s ever. He’s making veteran throws from the pocket while also being an incredible athlete. Only knock on him is his weight but that’s fixable.
Jayden is Lamar 2.0 🤷🏼♂️ I know, it’s early, I know, Lamar’s a 2x MVP and he’s special, but so is Jayden. He’s elusive, he’s fast, but he also makes smart decisions, and he throws the ball better than Lamar.
Yeah he’s what Lamar wishes to be. Lamar has 99 speed and agility, 90 throw power, 80 accuracy, and 70 decision making. Daniels has 95 in all of those. Much better overall. Literally almost the perfect QB. Just needs some more size and strength to be really up there
I’m a ravens fan but it’s cool seeing Washington finally catch a break.I knew he’d be good IF* he could get comfortable and was managed well there.I was worried he’d go there and it be another wasted talent,Or play 3 games and have a rough start and they bench him.Hes done well and played his role great.Very proud of Jayden and to come in and change that team is a big deal.He reminds me of Lamar in his rookie season but with better accuracy already. He will gain weight and bulk up as he matures and time goes by.That money will get him on the right diet and he got access to the best trainers.Give.They got a good RB and WR and rookie TE.This a good story and there a good team for the culture.Jayden could get them a new stadium and a new fanbase as well put them on espn every weekend finally lol

I just dont get how everyone is shitting on Caleb now like he didn't just throw for 360 & 2 TDs with OSAMA BIN WALDRON as his OC and one of the worst OLINEs on the league
Now it’s a bad Oline? Allll off season “Williams has the best situation for a rookie QB ever! His offense is stacked!” All he does is hold the ball too long and force turnovers constantly.
@@MrCFBad The offense is stacked - with position players. However, the o-line was ass last year and barely any moves were made to improve it. And saying he holds on to the ball so long is a funny argument, as he’s much quicker getting it out than Fields and in Week 3 averaged 2.64 seconds. Then on top of that add on the terrible play calling by Osama Bin Waldron. If you think Caleb is the problem you’re smoking crack.
@@youngdhill Daniels has had to get rid of the ball a lot quicker in week 3 and he has 0 turnovers. He runs and scrambles and throws the ball into the other teams hands instead of throwing it away. He’s josh Allen in his mentality but he’s Ryan leaf in his execution.
I said months before and i’ll say it again. Trading Justin Fields and not going with Daniels will cost Ryan Poles his job and will haunt the Bears franchise for decades
21 of 23 for 254 ( over 10 yards per attempt ) Yeah look out I'm impressed and I don't get impressed easily . Redskins ( sorry I grew up knowing that team name so I still use that team surname ) are in a good spot with Daniels at QB .
Jayden Daniels is what Lamar wishes he could be lmfao and I’m a Ravens fan. But Lamar is mentally fragile, he gets triggered starts being sloppy I don’t like that it’s starting to get a little annoying just watching them trying to throw away games over and over and over
Comparison to a 2x mvp after 3career games is crazy.. if youre a ravens fan, i confidently say.. you dont deserve Lamar and i wish he was able to leave.🧡
I dont buy that your a ravens fan, we dont talk like that. And Lamar had nothing to do with the cowboys coming back that was a defense and play calling disaster, watch the game
Nabers is gonna finish the year top 5 in yards and TDs. lol saying it isnt close is stupid He wouldn't even win if it was voted on after 3 games. And i think hes great for the record
lol what? Mahomes was lauded as the next one after Brady. Lamar Jackson was lauded as the next one. Then CJ Stroud. And that’s the modern era. Vick was the next one. Randal Cunningham was the next one. Warren Moon, Steve McNair, etc.
@@rem1762 As do I, but every QB I named was hyped as the next phenom. The only black QB that accomplished anything but wasn’t considered the next great thing was Doug Williams. And that’s because he was in the league for a long time before winning the SB.
@@Chet73 Doug Williams indeed had that magical year for the Washington Redskins. Their starting QB was out then Williams came in and won a Super Bowl over the Denver Broncos. Even though that was his last hurrah but to ride off in the sunset that is a hell of a place to hang your hat.
Bro... he plays for the COMMANDERS bro. No. He's not he next "one." I can absolutely & 100% promise you that, just from that alone. Washington will always suck. They, & New York are in a footrace to see who will become the next Browns.
Every single NFL franchise has been absolute dogshit at some point in their life (except for the Ravens, unless you still consider them the Browns). Empires rise and fall, only to rise again.
Mans broke the league completion record in that “Decent” game. He has the highest completion percentage in the league and is improving by the week. Your opinion is invalidated by reality
