To throw the ball 65 yards with lots of air under it after a rib injury is simply incredible. When you can do that, you know you are destined to be a star!
he didnt have a rib injury that was bogues and the ball was short of the goal line if dude hadnt tipped it they lose they would have been better off letting them catch it
I actually thought that was a bit patronizing. He was sitting on the ground thinking and reflecting about wtf just happened. And some dude on the other team is happy as ish (judging by his body language), probably smiling, trying to pick him up. Dude just wants to sit there a minute. Let him be. He'll get up when he's ready.
@@aznnp77 call compassion and the world is missing a lot of it. People only do sympathy/empathy like you just expressed and it’s half hearted and very pessimistic view. Having played sports my entire life and D1 collegiate I’d comment takes a mature man to not look to yourself but to others.
I am not sure what I am most impressed about. The coolness he showed with the pass or the coolness he displayed afterward. This kid is definitely someone special. He doesn't brag yet he never seems surprised about the great things he's doing
hail to the Redskins , hail victory. braves on the warpath, fight for old DC .run and pass and score we want a lot more , beat em swamp em touchdown let the points soar. fight on fight on till we have won sons of Washington.
@@58twright Diamond formation on Hail Mary. the coach even said that’s how they practice it. It’s not a coincidence his standing there. If the defense was smart one guy would have stayed to play the pitch but they all when for the high point.
So God helped the team win but didn't like the other team so he decided they should lose on a tipped hail mary play? Well if this is God working in his mysterious way then I guess it's plausible.
And he’s standing there with a crowd of tens of thousands of people screaming the original “Hail to the Redskins” over the cringe new stadium version where they butchered the lyrics. This is a special moment. Improbable win to top the division, 2nd in the NFC, a QB like this, whole crowd screaming “Hail to the Redskins.” Are we back?
@@MyBigToe08 bro I was upstairs packing for my trip tomorrow being pissed as hell when this happened. I totally missed it… But hail to the Redskins none-the-less
@@58twright - So did I ... I seriously thought we were toast when Jayden ran around those players lol.... he must've been thinking: 💭 "Golly ... how do I get rid of this ball?" 🤪
So dang PROUD of Jayden and happy Washington fans get to experience him. He is the real deal. The kid is humble and has a great work ethic. He did some great things at LSU. Geaux Jayden!! He's gonna be fun to watch.
I've had the pleasure of watching JD5 the last 2 years at LSU. This game was damn good. Jayden and Caleb will both be stars. These young men are talented and unflappable.
@@Bennjaay3Savage Feel you, but it ain’t happening. No way the league is sticking their face in that buzzsaw again. The new ownership has low key nixed changing it back. That ship has sailed.
I have. It been this excited about Washington football since the Gibbs era in the 80’s we need to clean things up but we are on the right track we got a qb
you're about to see another LSU player roll yall like this one did.. LSU representing... Steelers going to be lost in space with Malik tonight. Get yo popcorn, maybe flip a coin to see what qb you guys gonna start. This should be fun!!!!
Seriously me too. I was at work watching the game with my coworker on his phone and when this play happened I ran out of the restaurant to celebrate in the parking lot
@Steve_Hickman that throw was short of the goal line and tipped by a dumb Bears player. No skill involved just luck. Let's be honest. Congratulations and continued good luck. I hope the Bears 🐻 get another shot at the Commanders in the playoffs.
I had not been back to a Commanders (Redskins) game in 19 years when it was Landover field as I got stationed in California. I watched every game for years and am a diehard fan. I got to be there for this game and I will NEVER forget this game!!!! The stadium erupted and the mile long trek back to the metro was glorious!!
Same here we are beginning something special the glory days are here again I could definitely see us winning a Super Bowl in the next five years definitely have to get a new rfk stadium first though
Yo, his teammates really believe in him, man. It's beautiful to see. Like, they really, really feed off of him. Look at their faces. Makes me so happy to see.
The last 6-2 team in Washington were the Redskins, joe! It'll always be the Redskins! The Indians of Anacostia, Washington, DC, Slim! We won three Super Bowls there, youngun!
The Ravens game was good, they scored then we would score also. If there was a little more time maybe we could have won the game. A very good team did not run over us, we fought real hard.
I'm 81,been a REDSKINS fan since 1953!!! ,when Charlie "Choo-Choo" Justice, all-american from University of North Carolina played for the 'skins. Need I say more?😂😂😂😂
He’s literally telling the world how it’s possible… GOD! When you know the power of God like Daniels clearly does, that explains him keeping his cool. All Glory to God 👏🏽
The play was amazing but what is more impressive is the commanders player helping the bears players up. True class. I love how humble JD is. Great character in a young man.
The way this Hail Mary played out is a hybrid of Hail Murray in terms of the scrambling while that tip and the air yards covered reminds me of Colorado versus Michigan in 1994 when Kordell Stewart chucked it a long way although with Jayden Daniels it didn’t go quite as far.
This was astounding... I was at the game wirh my dad and friends, we left the stadium with 10 mins left in the 4th to beat traffic, so we heard the crowd's reaction and saw the fireworks go off - still super cool to be in the vicinity even though we missed seeing this play in person! It feels good to br a Washington fan for the first time in ages...
As cool as Jayden's pass was, Noah Brown's calm catch was just as cool, in a stark contrast to the uncool hotdogging by Tyrique Stevenson that contributed to the dramatic victory by the Commanders.
This is the loudest I've screamed in my house watching a Skins/Commanders game in,...well, I don't even remember. My dogs were all "WTF is happening?". What a feeling and what a special start to a new era that will hopefully last for a while. JD5 is aces all the way around.
I loved him thinking of something bigger then himself and thanking God. Such a mature and classy thing to do. He was one of at least 3 players I saw doing the same thing on Sunday. Such a great thing to see. These guys have power and influence but to stay humble and to realize where true power comes from was a beautiful thing to see.
Best part of this was the Bears' player taunting the Wahington fans and then rushing over to tip the ball to the Washington player!! One of the best Hail Marys' ever thanks to da Bears!!
