It bothers me that number 68 pushed him because the play was over.There was no need for that in my opinion. If he hadn’t pushed Jaylon Smith from behind he wouldn’t have gotten injured, but then again if that hadn’t happened then he wouldn’t have fallen to us in the 2nd round

Can you imagine what kind of sorry team he'd have wound up on if he didn't blow out his knee? No Jones family taking a risk and still drafting him high, investing in his rehab, being mentored by Sean Lee (one of the greatest LB and field generals in the game) and then getting the chance all year to take so many snaps to get him into NFL playing shape. All that paying off this year!

kabob21 all his procedures were done in Dallas at the cowboys wellness and health center, Jerry and the cowboys knew when that injury happened they wanted him. That’s why they brought him in and he used the Dallas cowboys surgeon, doc, specialist.

He very well could have wound up somewhere else with a team that didn't have the patience to wait on him to heal and/or lack the coaching to maximize his talent.

What helped him so much is his flexibility from yoga you can see in 2018 way more body control wasnt over pursuing. Leighton should do the same especially with his body if he doesnt it will shorten his explosiveness. Already he has a hip injury and that's from stretching, Still a fucking stud though. We have the best linebacking core in the NFL. Tell me is there any better and oh yea dont sleep on Lee watch him play well by being a formidable substitute whenever needed.

No. We definitely don't need to pay out that much money for a safety. Our defense is already elite. That money is much better spent on our offense. When Zeke and Daks rookie deals end they are going to want big paychecks. And we need more weapons to take us to the next level. If you want an elite safety take one with a high draft pick, but I wouldn't sign anyone on the defensive side in the off-season. This defense is too good to alter when our offense just needs a couple more pieces. Our Superbowl window is going to be really short. We need to grab one before all these elite defensive players, Dak, and Zeke want their money.
