Man shaw fell apart here. I've never seen him almost absent-minded choking .. hard to watch. Ko fought nack and took every apportunity so hats off to him
Shaw got lucky for the first half of the match and let his guard down when he go the lead. He lost to his ego. Ko Pin Yi didn't take his eyes off the table.
Shaw was busy celebrating, taunting and entertaining the crowd and Ko Pin Yi focused more on the game. This is a mental game, don't let your ego take over. (easier said than done)
After that 9th rack… they had moved shaws score from 5 to 6 b4 he potted all the balls and ended up missing the 8 and losing the rack the score stayed 6-5 and ko still wins out right..
People can hate Shaw all they want. But the truth about anything competitive is that you HAVE to be a little bit ignorant to get to the top 10 in the world at anything.
Actually, Shaw is a good billiards player...but his arrogant nature and unstable emotions often make his efforts futile and he loses...excessive self-confidence to cover up his nervousness...while his opponent chooses to remain calm, naturally confident, focus on playing...
It's just a one rail kick shot with a ball damn near hanging over the side pocket. I'm not sure why you think Efren is the only pool player that can make that lol. I'd bet most pros make that shot a pretty high % of the time.
