Everybody he’s every played with or against give him serious flowers but yea lotta fans hate him because he was cocky in his playing days and holds himself in the regard as a top 20 player which is justified bro had battled in the playoffs and won vs pretty much every star from the 2000’s except for Jason Kidd
Bruh I saw that game live as well. I'm a Lakers fan but watched a lot of Paul Pierce games. People really don't knw how much he kept the Celtics afloat for at least a decade by himself. And Antoine Walker
Bro OG got stabbed in Boston and survived. I would talk my sh too to everyone. Cause i seen the darkest place and used pain to f everyone. Paul Pierce Literally
@@roofer373if you go outside and get a job you won’t have to make stupid comments like this, I can tell you’re an adult man which is the scariest part about this, you acting like a child for what
@@roofer373doesn’t change the type of player he was. Scottie pippen disrespects mj now and he’s still beloved for some reason. Shaq used to disrespect Kobe, kd still disrespects Russ, the list goes on.
@@Joshua-pu5vj ones a finals MVP and the other is the best player on the favorite team to win the east (fuck the Celtics btw 🤦♂️) yeah they're superstars lol
@@tjleaf3141 Raptors fan talking about 1 ring?🤣🤣🤣 Drake got tired of watching you lose for 50 years straight and bought you a chip😂😂 now they just need 16 more and they can finally call themselves a worthy franchise
I’m so glad I was a young teenager watching Paul Pierce dominate and then now being in my 30s so I’m still young enough to enjoy and celebrate Tatum dominating and hopefully win a ring
there's something to say about how smooth it looks when that three is drained by Pierce. But the Sound of the Thud hitting the bottom of the rim is straight nasty! ☘️
He does what you talking about, me being a laker fan and wishing the lakers would of drafted him would of been amazing. Kobe told the lakers draft Tatum but ultimately went with lonzo smh
Fun fact: out of every nba player to take at least 20 shots with 5 seconds left in a game going for a tie or the lead, Tatum has the all time highest shooting percentage. Obviously that’ll change but it’s cool still
@@user-ib8om6kz8g Watch the bubble series vs Miami. How Tatum cost them the game because he wanted to stand at half court when Miami had no fouls to give then just pulled up for a 3 and missed it. Celtics just needed 2 points to win the game, btw. Paul sweet spot was a step back 2 pointer.
@@rob19nyyou’re talking abt the bubble, since then he leads the league in pts during the playoffs, has the most pts in a g7 ever, youre def a hater buddy 😂
jayson tatum has extreme passion for the game and art of basketball. learns from pros. learns from mistakes. understands the game is more important than ego on the floor
@@jerememjd24Thats because Celtics no longer needed him. If Celtics offered him a bench role for the team, he would gladly do so. Heck, even signed a 1-day deal just to claim he retired as a Celtic. Lots of ex-Celtic players remained loyal to the organization after retirement. Maxwell, Tommy and even Scal
A Tatum man spot up like Kobe guarding you and you're nock it down every time.. A butl Paul Pierce was the Truth when he was hooping .. Champion fo real he would take the big shot
Paul Pierce was my favorite player growing up. I’m not huge on basketball anymore. And he has proven himself a clown since his retirement. But two things are forgotten by many. The first, is that he’s one of the top players of a generation and a monster on the court with an exceptional high basketball iq who could have done more in this era because he actually showed point forward flashes later in his career like that game in the playoffs versus Atlanta without rondo. And second, he was a very clutch shooter and player, as evident by many shots, including game 5 against Miami before those mfs beat us.
Idk how PP proved he was a clown. All he's done is show why he was a great scorer, cuz he competitive as hell. Nd not agreeing to the LeBron narrative. And had some fun after retirement. But everybody got an opinion.
I think that’s why almost every game is a blowout now till playoffs where they run guys off the line, if your team has a cold game it ruins the entire offensive game plan
Pierce was like Bird, or even Doncic now, he was slow, but could Always get his shot off, he could take guys off the dribble to the rack if need be but more than anything , in the biggest pressure moments , their was NO DOUBT who was getting g the ball. Pierce was cold as F… love that about him. Garnett should be buying him dinner once a month for the rest of PP’s life.
