@@BernardBethea6339 What pedestal? Stop projecting your negativity and hate on my comment. It's just politeness and boundaries, nothing more and nothing less.
Exactly 💯. I always remember sadly what Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston went through. Think of Oprah. Can't go anywhere or do anything without an eye of scrutiny. My Dad always said fame has a cost.
@@Ajoe_1953 but they didn’t sign their souls away to be in the spot light regardless what anyone else thinks. They work (many times) twice as hard as an everyday person. Their reward is their success for their hard work. It’s extremely unhealthy for someone ( hell anyone for that matter) to constantly be on display hence constantly working. People that are their fans ALSO need to remain humble and remember, these artists are people too.
That's one of his right-hand mans. He's the brother of Kareem "Biggs" Burke, the co-founder of Roc-A-Fella records. LoL he was pretending to be a groupie, asking for a selfie...
the whole thing was a comedy skit😂 cuz thinc about it what grown man go say to Hov “let me get some money with you” thats when i knew it was for a video 😂not only that i heard Hov say to the dude “did you get it”
“Approachable” 😭 Yeah right. Like you can just walk right up to Jay without getting through his multi-million dollar security team without getting shot up. These people were cleared by security before Jay walked up. They didn’t just “walk up” on Jay Z.
Self worth? the people who buy his crap music are the one's paying his bills, what the fck you talkin about? stopping for people for a moment it's the least he can do, fk ...
Being a toxic individual who screws over damn near everyone is your idea of being a boss? Signing people to shit contracts and having them sell their souls for this hollywood nonsense is being a boss? You think someone who got married to beyonce can be free?? If he is not free and ultimately a puppet working against his own people how is he a boss?
Lmfao @ this comment. He was there for business or pleasure. Not sure how that is remembering where you came from. Acting like he was on his old block supporting those disenfranchised lol

He is such a gentle soul in real life. I’m so blessed to have shared his energy briefly when he worked with Amil. I’ll never forget being on the set of Amil’s “I Got That” video shoot ft. Beyoncé, it was late I was hungry, food came for Jay, he gave it to me. His entire meal.
That same exact thing happened to me too. Wait...no it didn't. I just wanted to see what it would feel like to be in that circle. Great story tho. On the 4-real-a tho I have had crazy real dreams where I'm on the tour bus or at a club with Jay or Wayne and then I wake up and be like how and why did I dream that and so dang real in detail . Nothing momentous either just hangin too. You got any other times like that?
He absolutely is not lol. He just signing like they ain’t nothing, won’t even look at them or say anything. And when my 2 girls worked at his 40/40 club in the city a few years back, they had to sign a contract agreeing to not look at him or Beyoncé in the eyes if they came in. He is not nice not polite.
Some of those people aren’t fans. As the above poster mentioned, some are looking to sell what he autographed on eBay. James Cameron received some heat during the Avatar 2 premier because he refused to autograph anything for people (not fans) looking for a come up.
All he did was walk out slow and sign his artist name for them the real statement should be these grown ups are at awe over a man walking on 2 feet like they are thats crazy pull out phones and stare at him like he's God ... jay-hova lmao

Jay-Z’s so cool. I’m for some reason happy, he reconsidered allowing the guy in the red flannel shirt to get a photo as-he seemed so broken walking away! I just love Jay-Z and Beyoncé. Blue Ivey, Sir, and Rumi, are so beautiful and amazing. I feel soo happy when I’m watching Blue Ivy perform. Honestly, I get so overjoyed every time I see you guys! Wow. Thank you . And look out for my first single to be released and books. I want Blue Ivy to play the leading character in the first book I wrote as the character’s coming of age. A beautiful story fit for Disney. It's a dope seeing how Jay made it. So many people like Basquiat as artists were going there and then fell before they got a chance to reach that pinnacle of business success. He's still around his homies like Gordo, Hip-Hop, etc, you can't front on that.

True Entrepreneur this man the true story of hard work and hustle. True inspiration for people like me. Having a single mom on welfare in tha bricks. Then lost her when I was 10 to drug overdose I've had to learn alot on my own. I'm 37 still not where I wanna be and never will be cuz I'm always on the chase for true success never will I stagnate. My son will never see the life I was born into. I tie my boots everyday for that lil boy. The music was just the pedestal that goat stands on. Shows humility and doesnt forget how it used to be.
Not a groupie just a fan of someone who was a staple in his community. They real groupies are the ones who hate people who look like jay but wait around to chase him for pictures, interviews and autographs. Especially in NYC
Majorly..… super cringe… dudes like him are just opportunists always lurking trying to latch themselves on to anything or anyone with motion instead of figuring out how they can create their own motion & add value to a situation.
