She was literally born to drum. She's already one of the best drummers in the world at this young age. It defies logic that most people can practice an entire lifetime and not get nearly this advances yet here she is at the top of the food chain in terms of ability. I'm astounded by her talent.

It's kind of surreal to watch Senri perform and then there not be a surge of incredible applause at the end. It is quite refreshing in a way - sort of keeps it pure ... she plays for the joy rather than the accolade. Senri - you are a gem!
I loved this live stream video so much, she's not only such a great musician but she's such a wonderful beautiful person, such a sweet personality, I hope to see her perform in person some day and maybe even meet Senri, that would make my life complete.
I find myself coming back to watch this video from time to time because Senri and sweet personality puts me in a great mood, and her playing is fantastic as well.
Man, look at her groove on the last cut! Her time is like a freaking machine, but her execution is so loose and fluid. Senri is so much fun to watch, just an amazing natural player.

I especially love the 2nd tune. She did a great job putting in her fills and does an excellent job accompanying the solos tastefully without stepping on their feet. Great all around job.
I'm glad you chose to drum in this jazz-fusion genre, it really shows off your total command of your instrument. You make it seem so effortless and you are a real joy to watch. IMHO you are definitely in the very top tier of drummers in the world today.
Oh, and by the way, refreshing to see such a great drummer that can ‘make it happen’ without needing to shmooze us with a ‘1000 piece set’. Seriously, more is not always better. Thank you Senri!

Although I couldn't understand a word you said apart from "hello" in Japanese and "thank you for listening" in English, which surprised me, I could listen to you speak all day with that cute, happy voice. Been watching this little lady drum from before she got her permanent set of "adult" teeth...she has played with some of the world greatest jazz musicians and composers. Amazing talent! Love her drumming!
Hiromi and Senri are both among the world's best jazz virtuosos. But they also need musicians who accompany them optimally. With Hiromi (who plays very melodically) these are: Antony and Simon. With Senry it is: her pianist (her father?) and bass player "Saisse". I like the bass player the best, because he not only plays technically and rhythmically perfectly, but also very melodically (melody stands for love). Senri and Hiromi in a trio: That would be an experiment, but it doesn't necessarily have to be successful. Here two induvidia meet, which differ quite strongly. Senri mostly hears acrobatic drum expressions through a well-composed arrangement that accompanies them perfectly. Hiromi shines through her creative and melodic improvisations in interaction with her fellow musicians (e.g. with Chick Corea or Michael Camilo). It is authentic art. But of course Senri can also improvise and communicate with her fellow musicians. If they don't compete against each other, but play optimally together, something unique could arise.
You are AMAZING!!!! I wish there could be live subtitle generation. And, even though I can understand very little, seeing your reactions reminds me that you're human and not just the angel I think you really are.

@@klistarf I just went back to see some old Buddy playing videos and You know all I saw was Him racing like mad all over the set. After finding Senri I don't even care for the Buddy Man anymore. She can play anything !
@@DYNABIKE1 I have to say that i know exactly where you are coming from. Buddy is (obviously) incredibly good, but there is just something so pure in Senri's playing. And i love how she makes it all look so effortless.
