That was so next level! So many insights that you just never expected from WM. (Fan forever!) Amazing how he's able to give advice through experience so that it doesn't come off as preachy. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Thanks so much for this GREAT interview, Carlos & Wynton! I come from the same days as Wynton and he's right about so much. Back in the day it was all about love & peace and now it's about hate and guns! Sheesh man! Wynton is a deep soul with lots of great wisdom, as well as talent. Thank you so much! Peace.

This was great! Carlos you have a great show. I first saw and heard Wynton on a PBS Jazz special performing with Herbie Hancock back in the early 80’s I was amazed and blown away. We have met many times and I have his records & CD’S and I have seen many of his performances. The man is a genius, a great guy and he is an amazing musician plus his father Mr. Ellis Marsalis and his brother Branford and the rest of the family are incredible musicians also. Thank you Wynton for the great music and being a true inspiration. It is a Blessing to meet older musicians who are your heroes and older people who are willing to talk with you giving great advice pertaining to life so you will become a better person to achieve your goals. Like Wynton’s father, my father taught and inspired me. My first jazz concert I went to my father took me to see Duke Ellington. Meeting Mr. Ellington was definitely an honor. Later on I saw Lionel Hampton and of course growing up being exposed and listening to the music of the masters. Again a very great interview and presentation I really enjoyed Wynton sharing some of his stories. Hopefully one day we can share some music!

' the joy in life is people' ... he scored with that one in my book ... fun to find such a tremendous talent mixed with a down home persona dashed with a philosophical leaning🙂 ... Clark Terry was like that for me too minus the philosophy so much and with an extra dose of humor ... now Miles struck me a little different ... enormous talent still but with a more mysterious artsy side, more serious and less of a people person ... probably why they didn't blend so well ... of course Dizzy was a jokester lol ... great interview .. with great great stories !
