thank you for the question! 4 years later, I would say I can perform this better than I did here. I actually tried playing the song again a few months ago and I think I did really well as I didn't struggle much 😂

hahah thankyou i didnt notice that 0.0 sure i already sent it! and no i did not have any music sheet references for the drum, i improvised it. So you can also listen to the original track it's Kaoru & Sentaro Duet by Yoko Kanno :D

Very cool. I think the Japanese and Koreans are helping keep hard bop and modal jazz alive. Do you know any good Japanese or Korean jazz bands that write original tunes that I should listen to?

yess i've always liked tokyo ska paradise, they sound amazing. As their name suggest they only focus on ska. There's also platina jazz. They're not japanese/korean but they do covers for anime song make it jazz and i think they're terrific :D
