I told you yesterday 😂, he's been nominated 12 times & never won a Grammy. He was up against some strong nominees with big albums all the times he was up. That's all I got for why. 🤷‍♀He has also never won an MTV VMA, and he's been nominated 16 times for those.

Music video budgets were out of control in the late 90s ... back when people actually paid money for their music and albums sold millions of copies. Hype Williams was one of *the* go-to guys. I'm loving your Busta Rhymes journey btw. And yeah, the Grammy's have always been questionable - but even moreso in the "urban" (their wording, not mine) categories.

Hey dude, I've found you today through your SOAD videos and holy crap, do I love your format. The fact you can add to the music by playing along, that you pick it apart so deliciously... Instant sub. As for Busta, I recommend you take a look at the other version of "Woo-ha, got you all in check" he did with ODB. It's in different key and tempo, and I say it's superior. Busta is certainly one of a kind, almost like his own genre of rap. Cheers, and thanks for doing what you do. Imma watch all your videos on the weekend ;)

First heard him as a young lad on the Tribe Called Quest track Scenario, never head anything like it, his voice, his quick delivery... it was so effing cool to me. I listened to a lot of different music in the late 80s and 90s, a lot of biggie and 2pac included, and after they both died Busta came out pretty hard and it was refreshing and a new take on hip hop. Had ELE album and the flipmode stuff on repeat a lot.

I think the Grammy thing works like a lobby group or Political pack .....you have to stay involved like have a representative on the board to be able to vote.....
