I've been listening to this music and waves for many nights to help me rest. I struggle to fall asleep because of pain. I read a few comments for the first time tonight and my heart was warmed within me. To those who come after me and read my comment, allow yourself to be encouraged by the words of others here. Let your heart, mind, and body be put at ease, at lest for the night. You are not really alone.
I've retired and getting old. I'm in the kitchen most of the time relaxing with the music and a cup of tea. Today I decided to listen to jazz music. So relaxing. I love it.
That's the Peanuts effect; Schroder on that little piano was the first jazz we were exposed to as kids and it reminds us of being with family during the holidays, already in our pajamas for the night. Soft jazz is a warm hug.
...that music... something to drink... watching the leaves falling from the trees... thinking... a good book maybe... and all that, with al little smile... Thank you! Greetings from Germany Chris
We wonder why life goes by so fast nowadays, we never take our time to relax and live in the moment of the beautiful essences of life, back than people appreciated the love and smoothness of life. Sit back and enjoy the time you have.🎼🎼🎼🎹
I really like the fall-to-winter atmosphere of a jazz cafe like this one. Especially when the whole city is preparing for Christmas🎄 Thank you so much for the wonderful music you bring.
I was peacefully studying but then I end up crying hearing every piece of music that gives me so much nostalgia. I can't believe we grew up so fast. Everything just seemed like it happened yesterday :'(((
I just recently started listening to Jazz and honestly, it brings me alot of emotions and feelings. Whenever I listen to it, I feel inspired, happy, motivated, whatever it is. Somedays I just walk around listening to this and feel right at home, I just reminisce of older times, when life was simpler. I can't even count the amount of times music has helped me, and it's all thanks to these talented people, able to compose beautiful tracks left and right, you guys rock!
Couldn’t have been better music for taking shots with my husband after a hard day at work and unwinding If you’re reading this tell your lover you love them! Even a back massage goes a long way 💕
I used to be an avid hater of jazz. No idea what happened but I absolutely love it now! It’s so relaxing. I used to agree with Angela. “Just play the right notes!” The wrong notes are what make it feel so alive.
I put this video on throughout my online classes every day, and it helps me so much to concentrate and calm down, Thank you so much for this beautiful music
The drum music in the background sounds really sweet, romantic, and beautiful! Drum beats are my favorite part of music, especially jazz when there's only two instruments!
I taught myself Jazz on the piano, and have been adding the sickest and nastiest chords in all my daily piano sessions and amuse myself with the insanely accurate chords.
Exactly my thought! In your non-existent job, are you working in an open-space office, sharing the elevator with silent strangers and drinking bad filter-coffee?
you finish a long day of work and it is now 10:24pm. you step outside your workplace and light your cigar. the cold night air fills you with determination, and you venture out to the harbour. boats and vessels swim along the sullen sea, and you gradually retreat to your hotel room
My thoughts too 😊 all my collegues went home and i'm all by myself... sitting in a late night jazz bar after work in New York... it's raining outside, i am in my coat and just peacfully having my drink thinking about happier and simpler times 🌃
THIS MAKES ME THINK OF MY FUTURE LIFE. Coming home from a long day of work to my luxury apartment in the city--I want to be a novelist/publisher/filmmaker/producer. I hang up my nice coat, turn on the jazz, make myself a nice cocktail, and relax on the balcony admiring the nighttime city vibes ^-^
I don’t know why I always have this feeling but every time I listen to jazz i feel that the world is still fine it also makes me feel relaxed jazz should be a cure for the mind
I was under the influence of strong haze and played some jazz on a piano yesterday. The interesting thing is that I never had any lessons, I hardly know which key is called C, D, E etc. I just let something inside me figure out what worked and what didn't and it slowly formed into something really beautiful. And here I am, I developed a new understanding of music and feel like I finally figured out what Jazz is all about, which is to say, it's not really about anything in particular. It's really what you make of it, and how you try to shape and adjust it to express some untold feelings. I do however acknowledge that music theory is important framework, a kind of a toolbox to us, and I don't own such a toolbox. I don't own such jargon as to say "I'm in love with minor chords" or whatever. I feel like after what I experienced yesterday though, I might just own something that is a lot more valuable then that, or at least equally important in relation with expressing the unexpressed.
I hope everyone reading this comment is doing well during these strange times. I wish you all the best, good luck and stay healthy! ps. I love that kind of sound. It's been helping me fall asleep for years and helps to relieve stress. Thank you very much!
In the 1970s or so, bob Marley came to Zimbabwe (Zambia) and asked for the best musician. My grandfather played the saxophone alongside his performance. My mother says he was the best (probably because it was her dad😅) but every time me and my mom listen to saxophone, she mentions him. I’m not sure how he died..
Sir; Thanks for the greatest music, so relaxing, God bless... I'm old, I wished to be more patience when I was young, I would be the best Pianist in the world, for now let's enjoy this wonderful Jazz while drinking a cup a wine and a little butt...MMMMMnnnn so relaxing. In the near future I will get a Bose surround system... Respectfully; Andy
Bellissimo, gusto, passione, eleganza ed emozioni che solo la musica può risvegliare questi sentimenti da tempo scomparsi. Grazie achi ha fatto la compilation ❤
Ahhhhh finally I get to have some peace... I feel like I’ve just finished by geography test and I’m sitting there with the jazz the teacher put on to help us relax...
very good music and very coming and 10 hours is not bad at all so have a cup of coffee and it fells nice to have a cup of coffee and a cookie next to you and family so very nice music!!!
This helps me relax before bed. Helps relieve the stress and anxiety to help me sleep. Can't always listen to rap, rock, metal. or pop all day. Sometimes you need some jazz.
Imagine... You've just arrived in America and you in the 'Vivian hotel with your best friends The echoey music fills your ears as you face the speakers, You all agree to head to the cafe in the hotel and head there, You order a decaf coffee, You and your friends laugh together at various things as you look around you finally get to see the whole arcutetiure of the hotel, Marble white floors, Golden white walls, Golden brown Pillars, An echoey effect to every word you speak. I just felt that kind of vvibe for this music so~
Fly me to the Moon Let me sing among those stars Let me see what spring is like On Jupiter and Mars In other words, hold my hand In other words, baby kiss me Fill my heart with song Let me sing for ever more You are all I long for All I worship and adore In other words, please be true In other words, I love you
What's beautiful about jazz is that as long as you're not copying a song made by someone else. Literally everything you play is an original song. Jazz is 95% improv
