Jazz Tuesdays is a weekly event featuring great jazz musicians from all over the state of Michigan. Each week brings in a different guest artist and a new experience.
Jocelyn Gould is a guitarist based in Winnipeg, Canada. Influenced by many of jazz history’s greats, including Wes Montgomery, Charlie Parker, and Grant Green, she is a versatile musician who excels in many genres, including jazz, r&b, funk, and pop. Jocelyn currently attends the MSU College of Music and is pursuing a Master in Music degree in Jazz Studies. She has performed recently in New York City, and has also performed at the TD Winnipeg International Jazz Festival.
Joining Jocelyn on the bandstand is MSU Professor of Jazz Randy Napoleon, guitar, Japan's Kazuki Takemura, bass, and Jazz Tuesdays host Jeff Shoup on drums.
Jazz Tuesdays is generously sponsored by Gregg Hill Publishing, the East Lansing Summer Solstice Jazz Festival, and INDe Drum Lab.

Wonderful playing !! There used to be a jazz club in NYC (can't remember which one) that had a no talking policy during the music. Just sayin....
