jass, is death... everybodies copies everybodies... all are influenced by everybodies... all sets of harmonies , are sounds mixed by others... worst poison of jass, it himself... the real composers has understood this.. and they write classical music
I think that your lack of appreciation for this music genre has something to do with your grammar... It is "Jazz" for you! Perhaps if you start there, you might be able to appreciate some of these beautiful tunes better. Just try it, you might just feel better about the whole thing! 🤪
