The Cleveland Cavaliers dismissed JB Bickerstaff as head coach on Thursday and will look for new leadership, but does that start include GM Koby Altman?
We'll break down all of Altman's moves since he's taking over the Cavs to figure out if should be safe or not in this organizational shake up.

YES EARL!!!!! Max was not playing his position the ENTIRE FREAKING YEAR!!!!!! What in the hell did we even go for him if you aren't going to utilize him where he can do the BEST he can??? It's crap like this that frustrated me the entire season. That's a coaching issue.

Disagree with the LeBron situation when he wanted them to trade the pick. LeBron wouldn’t commit long term, that’s why they kept the pick. Whether it was #1 or #20 overall they needed to keep it. They trade that away they get nothing in return when he leaves.

Next coach won't matter until Altman fixes the logjam in the front & back courts. If Mitchell extends, then move DG & JA immediately for multiple off ball players. Build it around Donovan & Mobley and surround them with as many shooters as possible.

I know yall are upset about JB getting fired but let’s be honest his rotations didn’t utilize everybody’s best abilities. Didn’t mesh together. Didn’t know how to call an offensive play and crumble whenever the 4th quarter arrives. Not only that. When the playoffs arrive we play 6-8 people instead of utilizing our full roster to keep our guys fresh when needed

I like Jay but some of his basketball takes are bad! Max Strus was misused here as a small forward. He is a shooting guard, but he was essentially the same player in Cleveland that he was in Miami. I did not like the signing of Max Strus from the jump! Koby Altman is more guilty here than JB anybody that knows basketball can see that! Hopefully the Cavs can at least resign Donovan Mitchell to a long term extension; if that doesn’t happen Altman needs to go immediately! -BP in Pepper Pike

I dont care what anyone says, JB Folded=Arms needed to go...dont care if Donovan stayed or not, JB is an old grim who couldn't get out his own way to coach this team like it shouldve. He is a starter rebuild coach, and to say anything different is being an idiot. People get revisionist history and feel all bad when a coach like JB plateaus

Jaylen Brown was a NOBODY when they traded Kyrie guys. And Tatum hadn't been drafted. A *nobody.* Isaiah Thomas had just made an All NBA team. He was the star, and they got him. Nobody thought he would become a shell of himself months later. DO YOUR RESEARCH, IT TAKES 5 MINUTES

Lol Brown was a number 3 overall pick on a playoff team so like Kobe Bryant, Boston didn’t throw him in the fire his rookie year. Thomas had a fluke year, 1 hit wonder and Boston knew that and saw bum ass Altman coming and swindled him, getting Kyrie for nothing.

@@devious100dd Funnily enough, they got the same out of Kyrie that you claim they gave up for him. But the facts contradict you. Thomas had been on an upward trajectory for years and was an All Star the year before his All NBA appearance. Boston wanted Kyrie because he was younger with upside to be even better. Cavs needed someone to help immediately. It's just bad luck.

@@thacryinggame Everything I said is the factual reality. Articles and fans at the time even describe the trade favorably, precisely because of what I pointed out. You can look it up. Hindsight is 20-20. At the time, it seemed like a solid deal. Brown was all upside, he wasn't ready to be a second or third option. The Cavs were looking to win immediately and try to satisfy Lebron. Brown wouldn't have made any sense.

Don't forget earlier this yeart he cavaliers won seventeen out of eighteen games without garland. They were beating the best teams and holding them to under one hundred points. I think they were the best team in the NBA. When garland returned and was in the starting lineup for thirty plus minutes each game, the Cavs returned to mediocrity. Jb did not make the necessary personnel adjustments to return to their winning ways. This is the main reason he's gone. That great winning streak tells me that the cavaliers have the players to win big. There's no necessity for wholesale changes. The chairs just need to be rearranged on the deck.

That's not how they presented it, ok they trade away a late 2nd...coach hire was Dan's fault because he wanted Beilein as HC, who then bailed 20 games in...granted he should have cut him loose last season, but I get the consistency aspect..and I didn't say Issac wasn't a bust, but trying to use success of two other PG to compare to a SF is laughable...when Cavs had their PG already, they weren't drafting another
