Dream Kid Joseph is one tough and resilient 10-year-old. He has battled Sickle Cell Anemia his entire life resulting in multiple surgeries, over 30 blood transfusions, and a pump to control his iron overload. In May of 2016, Joseph received a stem cell transplant and his body seems to be responding great to it! His doctors continue to monitor his improving immune system and cell counts, but Joseph is known to be a true fighter. His sports dream came true when he met JB Mauney and watched him compete!

My sister worked as a Training Coordinator for the Caterpillar Plant in Clayton, NC. I think CAT was a sponsor on the PBR at that time, but either way my sister had the opportunity to meet many of cowboys that were on the tour stop in Raleigh. She said that to a man they were some of the friendliest, nicest, and above all most humble group of guys she has ever had the good fortune to meet. Seeing JB take some time to make this kids day reminded me of her experience. I guess nothing much has changed with those guys.

I've had a pisser of a day, a week really. But dang this brought a smile to my face and a tear to my eye. Keep fighting little man and J.B. and all the the other guys that helped make this happen shows how we should be towards everybody no matter what the situation or we think we are.

He just lives about five miles from me, and he is the same guy today as he was before he became a super star bull rider. He absolutely is a down to earth guy he's made more money than any bull rider in history but he's the same old guy he was when he was broke.

These groups do great things for these kids and their family's. My ex wife's little 16 month old zoe is fighting leukemia and damned if that little fighter just got a clean scan. 2 more treatments and she should be home for good with her sisters momma and dad

there was a point when j.b had first made it to fame and I couldn't find a liking for him his riding was great but he seemed to lack the cowboy way and I didn't see him as anything more than a cocky kid this may be due to bad coverage of who he really was or he has grown to be the great man he is now either way I'd love to meet him and shake his hand he's a true champion in. life and arena
