Fabulous system but the sub woofer is down firing and i am seeing it upside down. Please keep it floorstanding with woofer facing the floor. You will get an even better sound quality
😅 i just show the subwoofer how's look like. U say right, the bass a little bit stronger if i turn it back, but the phone can't make "real" record so you will listen a completely different bass behind of your pc or phone.
This cannot be decided that way. It's more up to your taste. I think logitech can better represent the lower hertz more strongly. This JBL is more of an intermediate solution!
I just delve into the soundbar world since last year not knowing there were such system intead of hifi or home theater..man what I've missed all these years after realized the soundbar can give pretty good sound with decent bass..and here i am feeling very dissapointed after knowing that this beast of jbl 3.1 has been discontinued and nowhere to be found on shopping platform..the only choice i had that has similar power in term of bass is jbl 5.1 but it's a little pricier..how unfortunate
I know how you feel right now. I am also a fan of Home Cinema Systems. But it's not possible for me. Our home is too small. A good home theater can't be beat, but it's also very expensive. These JBL soundbars are a good compromise for those who don't have enough space and sometimes money. I was lucky to get the 3.1 product for around £320. I was very pleasantly disappointed with these systems. Ok, it's not a high-end system, but it can be a good decision for the price. My brother also has a JBL 2.1 deep bass soundbar, which has a smaller subwoofer. However, it can produce incredible bass....I didn't believe it until I heard it with my own ears. It's cheaper and I think it's still available in stores.
@bozsanyi87 how does it compare to your 3.1? Do u feel the same power between them?... I'm thinking of buying 2.1 too, but it just has 6.5" sub which got me down a bit..im a bass type so i like to feel power of the bass throbbing through my chest not just deep weak bass
How do you like it? I don't like to listen via blutooth cause the quality not even the best. I use laptop via hdmi or tv via arc hdmi. I'm from hungary, but I live in Northern Ireland😀
@@bozsanyi87 what is one of your conplaints about it ? And I think JBL makes a 5.1 and higher soundbar. Also been looking at the Nakamichi 9.2 Dolby Atmos soundbar but can't afford the 1k plus price tag lol.
@@joeymatthews8233 Well i bought it cause i have no room in my hall. I much like the Home cinema amp and the real speakers. If you have a space for a amp+speakers than buy it. I have a system in my room. Pioneer vsx 828 and jamo speakers and sub. I like a yamaha amps well. So don't spend your money for soundbar. U need a real system, if you like a low bass and a real good mid and high sounds....
Yes it has a surround, movie sound mode too and some more. In movie mode u get more bass but i don't realy like it couse the bass is too loud. I like the natural sound mode.
how many watts subwoofer , i am asking electric power consumption rating at the back of the subwoofer , not the rms watts, it might be mentioned at he back of subwoofer near power cord

Music, games, movies but i prefer a real 7.1 sound system for movies (amp, speakers with cable😄) but i don't have room for a real system. This jbl is all in one.
JBL 3.1 it was £330 and the Bose is nearly £700......of course Bose! I didn't want to spend a lot of money for soundbar. I much like the home cinema system!!!! I wanted to buy something for the living room for movies, gaming, music. But there is not too much space, so i got jbl 😉

Hi! 3.1 and 5.1 subs is same, but the 5.1 is better choice because newer models were also made from it. 3.1 is only produced for a few years. Today, no new ones are made from it. so if you buy 3.1 you have older knowledge and the 5.1 is good for movies as well! I'm happy with 3.1 cause i use for music, youtube, online radio and playstation. I have home cinema system so i don't use it for movie.

Since this is a video, I tried to visually show how it looks when the music is playing. But this is not a high-end sound system and the room would not be suitable for such a set. Anyway, the carpet dampened the vibrations quite well. Funny, yes, I know. The paper representation best🤣🤣. But how do you show what it can do in a video??? It wouldn't have mattered if I just uploaded sound to youtube....🤣 right??? But I don't want to be clever. It's just a 300 pounds compact wireless soundbar......vibrations and such??? I have no room for it. It has a special sizes. My friend made it for me. If I had more space for a nice stand I would rather buy a home theater amplifier.😀
