great video, lovely sound. I am suprised by how good they sound. I saw a pair second hand monitors, and this was just what I needed to take the decision!
Wow! I have to say, they are certainly louder than any Laptop speakers. And one time in your videos, I thought it sounded like you were in the same room as where you were. And so real. lol Terry
yeah. i got the 305's too. they not bad at all. if your room or studio is big you would want the 308's plus the subwoofer. for a small room these work perfect, got them in 2019 and they still goin strong. oh yeah the dust caps are pretty much un poke-able LOL. im gonna upgrade to the 308's and have them on stands next to the 305's.
hey, great vid. I jut got them, i set the volume knobs to the max, and also in my audio interface (audient id4) but i steel feel like it could be louder, am i doing something wrong?
cool. this are great monitors. They're not the best to "enjoy" music cause they're a bit dull (for mixing purposes). PS. the inputs are balanced. needs TRS or XLR cabes for proper use and best results. cheers
@@nikolaikirkanovic I'm not 100% sure but it would have to be a special 3.5mm because there are too many wires for such a small size. It is best to look for an audio interface with trs/xlr outputs
I personally like the JBLs better over all. They sound more full to me. E5xt are more analytical which is not always good for general editing. Plus the e5s are more sensitive to signal noise which could be an issue depending on the source. Hope this helped.
@@JustVladsthx. I would use them for studio and mixing purposes, so I would plug them to my focusrite scarlett. And I never had problems with signal noise. Which do you think translate better? But ultimately I think I just have to wait until music stores open up again so I can see for myself :)
I'm thinking of buying these, but the report of hiss from them worries me. I'd be connecting these to a synth if I buy them. Would the audible hiss be annoying?
No it's not. I have a pair on my desk, from about 1 meter away and I don't notice it, and I don't even have the best setup yet, they're curenlty connected directly to my PC through balanced to 3.5mm aux. Hope this helps you decide.
Is it just me or these speakers should be bought twice? Cuz i see that people sell them not as a pair, but only one And to make it stereo you need to buy it twice.. am i right?
You are right, these are sell as single unit. Right now it's $119 at amazon. There are sellers that sell them in a bundle with the pair, the price would be the main indicator of how many speakers come, also read the description to be sure.
Buy a DAC, it will have a much better sound card than your PC. Or you could buy a passive volume controller so you at least have better control over volume. Check out Zeos video on these 305p , he goes into it in depth.
Hi! How are you? I just bought the same ones. They sound great, but have a lot of hiss noise, without even plugging in anything. Simply by plugging it into the power. Do you have a similar problem? can you do something? greetings and thanks! .
Hissing noise is kind of normal, but it could also be the adapter that it is hooked up to that makes it hiss. It could also be a problem with the end of the plug
Waw get ya self a good set of RCA cables for them speakers 🔊 Thick ones If u need , use port plugs Waw very interesting speaker The bounder gain is cool
This is very easy to do. You just need a specialty cord (very common in music stores or online) that goes from one male 3.5mm (aka aux) to two male TRS for each speaker
