That should work fine. Even if you had issues, you could leave a cable next to it to charge and unplug when you use them. This would also help save its battery life instead of having them permanently plugged in.
What do you recomend this jbl 1300x Or the samsung q990c ? Because i want to buy one this week , . I like to play video games , view horror movies and play music sometimes at loud volume
Also, thank you so much for that detail about limitations of 60hz for consoles plugged into the bar, and the detail that you plug your console directly into the TV to reduce lag and get the best picture. It seems 120hz and VRR wouldn’t work for Xbox Seris X if connected directly to the soundbar. Is that accurate?
Those features are not part of the bar, just connect your console to your display and use HDMI eArc to get full Dolby Atmos. If you have a TV capable of high speed gaming, it should have eArc
@@OmerAlazawy for instance, when you turn on the PS5, it will tell you that your device is not capable to run 4k at 120Hz so it will set it up as 4K at 60Hz anyway. Just like it was mentioned before, plug the console directly to your screen via HDMI and let your TV do the transfer to the soundbar. Use the HDMIs on the bar for any other devices that not need 4K at 120Hz, like a Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Apple TV, cable boxes or so.
@@AudioAdvice welps pulled for an AMBEO PLUS and AMBEO SUB! I just love the sonic clarity and front immersion of Ambeo Tech! I've heard Sonos arc with full immersion! though incredible, it didn't sound as engaging as the Ambeo in my opinion...
i am wondering what holds the BOSE 900 back ? is it the surrounds ? or the 700bass Module ? I think the bar itself is a great sounding bar...have had the Samsung Q950a and the Sonos Arc / 2 subs / SL ones and ended up selling both...just wasn't feeling it....where do i go next as in soundbars ? Bose ? JBL ? Sennheisser ? Klipsch ? i am not a bass head but enjoy clear dialogue and crisp sound...looking forward to opinions......MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL.....cheers from Vulcan Canada
It is actually quite interesting the process you go through. You can see it here on pages 15-16 of the user manual. www.jbl.se/on/demandware.static/-/Sites-masterCatalog_Harman/default/dw8293a4a2/pdfs/JBL_HA_Bar%201300_OM_Global_V6_EN.pdf Thanks for watching
This should still be fine as long as it's 10-12 feet or lower and has no obstructions in the way. Yes, technically it may diffract the sound waves a bit but it shouldn't make a huge difference at the end of the day. Hope that helps!
been having my 9.1 for about 2 years now i love it but now i’ve come to find out it’s not the flagship model anymore :( i can’t even begin to comprehend that there’s a better newer jbl bar. is it worth the upgrade ? i really only care about bass and dolby atmos
I just got the 1300x on sale for 1100. I also have had the 9.1 for a couple of years. At first I didn't notice a huge difference but I will be playing a couple of key atmos scenes with both to see if it's worth it or not. (There are a couple of Bird Box scenes that are amazing with atmos) If not, then I'm returning the 1300x. It does sound amazing though, but so does the 9.1. The bass is almost the same, maybe the lows hit deeper...and the atmos is a bit better. But worth the price difference? Not sure yet. If they would have given us more control over each channel, the volume more than 31, and even a remote with a back light I would have most likely just kept it without all the skepticism. All that being said...not worth full price if you already have the 9.1 and if you get it on sale...hold on to the receipt just in case.
Hi, when I listen to music on the JBL1300 through bluetooth with the detachable speakers plugged into the main bar, the main bar doesn’t make any sound, only the detachable speakers do. And once I detach them, then the main bar starts playing. I wonder why the whole bar can’t play music to enjoy the full power of the set without detaching the rear speakers. Do you know how to fix this ? Thanks
Thanks for the video. Hopefully future generations of soundbars will have a more powerful and customizable room calibration. I hope to see that implementation soon since at the moment I don't see it, just like the possibility of putting another subwoofer to the configuration if desired by the client. written with translator Greetings
Hi, this is my first time owning this sound bar, i need help to find the best way conecting my sound bar 1300x, my cable box and my fire tv 4k to my new 75 inch SONY XR X90L tv to get better sound can you please help me?
since your not compeating with neighbours JBL 1300 IS BEST BECAUSE OF PRICE. Q990C IS EXPENSIVE BECAUSE OF HIGH VOLUME OF RALE SPEAKERS. for me i enjoy jbl, perfect bass and sound fo both music . in movies its mind blowing
😮😮😮hello can you help me how did i get jbl bar 1300 the box has double schoch white tape side under white...may it have been used before? or did jbl make the boxes like this?
@@AudioAdvice i wanted to know if the other people bought with the same white shock side under the white packaging ... the seals are the ones that is not open i saw the first day
@@AudioAdvice I was very disappointed😢 jbl bar 1300 with 1500 euros in Italy 3 months ago I bought JBL Italy and it was delivered to me. with broken polystyrene
what I was looking for in a review was even how does it perform when the rear are in the bar... how does it perform compared with bar alone system like sony A5/7000, bose or Arc without the rear speakers? Because the price is high but not as high as these other systems in the complete form with the option of having the full surround when needed in movie night. My room is odd shaped and having something on the wall is not ideal and this bar could solve my problem but I would like to know how does it perform when everything is together in the bar
We did not test it that way as it is so simple to move the battery powered rear speakers to locations for rear surrounds we do not feel anyone would use them much on the bar.
The sonos will always be the best sounding soundbar compared to the Bose. But for JBL, it has a loud sub but not tight and clean and as the pioneered sub gen 3. Otherwise, it's personal preference. Don't think sounbars are all in for music. It's mainly for impactful movies. But quality wise, it's Sonos, Bose, and JBL.
I currently own the 9.1 and my only complaint is the sound stage is not very wide. Does the 1300x achieve a wide sound stage? Also my TV set up is 77" lg oled.
That is going to be an issue with all sound bar type systems. Separate speakers will be your best bet if you want a wider soundstage without faking it through phase tech.
@@vilhelmstein2091 yes - it's a soundbar that bounces sounds off walls like every other bar. a longer bar just means shorter distance to wall assuming the room is a good room to bounce sound in. in short, it's all just echoes and some give off louder echoes than others.
I have the JBL 9.1 ATMOS and the sound quality is garbage. Very muddy. It's pretty sad when you connect up a Hisense Atmos bar for your parents, and realize that bar sounds better than your JBL 9.1 just in terms of sound quality. Is the 1300X the answer I'm looking for? Or is it just a lateral move with same muddy sound quality, with just more power?
@@billbangz ok.. was leaning more towards the JBL because of the detachable speaker's can the ambeo max project that kind of sound of having those independent speaker's?
@@billbangz would there be any issues for the detachable speaker's in future regarding battery up.. pretty sure that the battery would lose it's capacity over a period of time
@@AudioAdvice good point I haven't. But based on the specs, the front bar alone without the sides is smaller than the Samsung and based on other reviews appart from the subwoofer am not sure if there is something better than the Samsung. BTW, comparison video out anytime ?
Thanks for the feedback. We do carry this soundbar on our website but we were sure to test it thoroughly before making a video about it. We stand behind the products that we review so typically we are quite excited to share how well they perform. Otherwise, we wouldn't recommend people to buy it. We understand where you're coming from and we want to be as transparent as possible!
It's very hard to give audio demos through RU-vid as there are many variables that will make it sound not the same as in person. Plus RU-vid compresses the audio a ton.
