Good video ! I got two BB3 to throw in the backseat to replace my car stereo system. I wanted to get a smaller speaker to put on the front dash so that the music surrounds me. I was thinking about either getting a C5 or an X3 to partyboost with the two BB3 in the backseat. Do you think adding a 3rd speaker in the front for the car is overkill ??????
Battery Life is like MPG…so many factors seem to impact it. I did an experiment with AA batteries in 6th grade and the cheapest batteries won, despite Duracel and Energizer claiming twice the hours.
I got a flip 5 for my birthday last year, And was wondering, should i save my money to get the extreme 3 or get the charge 5 to connect to my flip 5 ,at the same time? My idea was that maybe I can use the the flip 5 specifically for the mids and highs, And eq the charge 5 for more bass(in jbl app) while also outputting a higher volume level all together
@@shoerice5083 i never said I liked it because it was better 🤦♂️. Also the bb3 is a way better speaker than the bb2. I said I just liked it more, why? Because it’s more portable and easy to take anywhere and it’s the best choice since you get your moneys worth and get a bang for your buck.
Bb3 is way better than bb2? You have both? I'm hearing bb3 gets only slightly louder, bass hits a little harder but not a night and day difference. Please explain
I always bring my xtreme3 and charge5 camping. connected they sound great together and last most the night. I'm about to buy the Boombox3 cause I want it and feel it can replace both those smaller speakers for car camping situations.
Probably going to go with a charge for the river trips, would strap down to my paddle board well. Wish I could take my PartyBox 310 but it isn’t water proof lol

And I've used my charge five outside and it sounds good it gets the job done and it's battery didn't even go down a whole lot and I had it around 80 to max volume
I have a JBL Boombox 2...I love taking it to hotels/festivals etc...Why? I bought a carrying case with a strap. That extra £30 (and now it has an EQ update in the app)...Brilliant. I hope it lasts me for a solid 5/6 years. They're going crazy cheap in the UK atm (£230...meaning they're clearing stock for something new/warmer weather). Plugged in they're a total 160W which is insane (140W on battery)...Utterly mental.
The best thing to do is return it and either get a Charge 5 or Boombox 3. I'm not a fan of the Xtreme 3 at all because of its underwhelming sound, but the Charge 5 and BoomBox 3 are well worth the money.

I have been more than happy with my Flip 6 the four months i've had it. I've taken it on several kayaking trips where it has been banged up, submerged in water, and still keeps on with the tunes. Most days though it sits in my garage and is used as my speaker when i'm working out. I charge it maybe once a week and that's only to top it off as it usually has plenty left before I start charging it.
I’ve owned the Xtreme 3 for about a year and a half and I love it. Every time I go out with my friends they tell me to grab it. It BUMPS fs especially after activating the Bluetooth and minus button trick.
Im considering buying Charge 5 because it looks like right balance between the size and the sound and the life of battery. I would need something to take to the garden or outside for little party with good bass. I hate when some speaker doesnt make good bass :D
Just bought a charge 4 for about $100 from costco. The bass response(60hz spec'd, but test tone at 55hz is there) is amazing. Great value and you can get full spectrum sound at full "medium room" volume, if you tweak your cellphone sound equalizer a little. I just saw the specs on the charge 5, but it's a few more bucks and "no 3.5 audio jack". It has more sound power(40w/ch vs. 30w/ch on charge 4) plus a tweeter for more full range "as-is" but I think this is for the customer that want's a "loud" room volume which is subjective....now your sound volume & quality is pushing towards the "over priced" extreme 3 territory.

I was torn between the charge 5 and flip 6. After browsing i saw that the charge 5 was on sale for only £115 on amazon so i got that one today. After watching your vid i am now more excited to recieve it.

Agree with what you say about the charge 5. Not about power, or necessarily about bass, though it still has about as much bass as your average bookshelf speaker. It is super clear, and quite neutral sounding. You hear every instrument through it.
It would have been nice if the other smaller speakers had partyboost as well.. I own the Clip 4 and it sounds amazing.. pairing two of them would be a dream come true.
Yesteday i bought Charge 5 and OMG its fantastic! One minus - it cant show verrry deep bass (like subwoofers), but bass is good! And i like thing that it have very good hights 👍, super sound quality, super build quality! Thanks for your video, man ❤️
I honestly love the JBL Go 3, it's literally what I need. I'm a onewheel rider(if you know what that is)and this little thing is perfect for me because of how light weight it is. The clip was my second chance but I went with the Go because of the price difference. Plus, it was on-sale for 40 bucks at best buy, can't beat that.
Great review!! Really appreciate your honest review. I've had several speakers mainly JBL and UE, and the Charge 5 is my go-to speaker. But... that said I think my flip ? is pretty good too. All that being said, I have hearing damage and it is what it is...

I have the JBL Go 3 and to be honest, it has a very high quality woofer but I wish the bass was a bit louder for when you have it sat somewhere and not holding it.
Just bought BoomBox 3 This is my first boombox, it is very cool, I recommend it to everyone. The only thing, although it is a portable technique, it is quite heavy, but that's okay, I will train.
Shopped for 3 weeks on FB MP. Gave in and bought the Charge 5, delivered Thursday. Im still looking for another JBL to pair. Ive owended everyone of your inventory on this video several times over, with my only dissappointment being the extreme 3. Ive never owned the Boombox, but at this point Im looking to pair the Flip 5 or 6 or another Charge 5. How can we do some business.?
You definitely earned yourself another subscription, but can you do a comparison of the extreme 3 versus the JBL go 2, I just want to see the difference before I buy Xtreme 3
I've been loving my Xtreme 3, ditched the shoulder strap and put a nice handle on it, way better. The Boombox 3 should have had the shoulder strap instead, would make it more portable. JBL mixed it up with that.
What about the Latency in Flip 6? My main purpose will be video streaming on my iPhone 13 pro and MSI Modern Laptop. Should I go for the Flip 4 because it has Aux Port or the Flip 6 because it's have Bluetooth 5 and Type C?
To avoid delayed sound when you want to watch videos on smartphone, try to make sure to switch your bluetooth mode on the smartphone first, before you switch on the Flip 5. I also used to have latency problem with my charge 3, but connecting them this way solved the delayed sound problem.
