What a shame man... as much as i like jbl and their products, this is just outrageous how they release the same product with an improvement after so many people paid 500 dollars or even more for their boombox 3. they do mistakes and then fix them by releasing the product after people had the original one and now theyre stuck with it. i think the original boombox 3 is great, not paying attention to those clowns not owning it and saying it sounds "bad" and has a 700 hz "peak". jbl are relying on those suckers who would actually buy a second one, or a third one, maybe next time they add a version with lights maybe they gonna buy it as well.... sad as it is.

Just return it, if you bought it within 30 days and you didn’t damage the speaker most places would accept a return no questions asked. Also this speaker is around 200$ more so even if you can return it it’s not a total loss

Guys be careful. JBL Boombox 3 Wifi has auto calibration. It is the same as Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 8. You can't control the EQ. It maybe not the same problem as in Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 8, but still, I wouldn't buy/ waste my money on this product.

I was wrong. JBL Boombox 3 Wifi has manual EQ and you can put the auto calibration off. That means that JBL Boombox 3 Wifi is superior against JBL Boombox 3 standard version.

Nah don’t say that I beg I will cry, This is one of those unique products like the eco-friendly clip 4 and Go 3 aswell as the Tomorrowland edition charge 5 and flip 5, this will serve as a singular unit that is probably the cheaper alternative than the partyboost regular version (like a flip or charge essential)

@xaerothehero I didn't buy JBL Boombox 3. S33S can confirm If you don't believe me. I am waiting for JBL Partybox 510. I am a Partybox guy. Auto calibration sucks and JBL Boombox 3 doesn't have partyboost and I bet it doesn't have the physical 3 band EQ.
